Narrative of Offense Committed
On or about the above stated date and time, the Defendant did

knowingly or intentionally possess a controlled substance, to-wit: Marijuana, A Schedule I Controlled Substance

I, the undersigned, being duly sworn, state that all facts contained in this Complaint and Affidavit, known by me or told to me by other reliable persons form the basis for my
belief that the defendant committed this crime
State all facts and persons relied upon supporting elements of alleged crime

On 12-1-16 I Deputy Ladwig, Stopped Ia plate CDV 776 for traffic violations. While filling out paperwork for the driver, Deputy Meyer 81-7 arrived on
scene and ran his K9 dog around the vehicle. Deputy Meyer advised The K9 alerted to the odor of narcotics on both the passenger rear of the vehicle
and the drivers side door of the vehicle. The driver who was identified as Joshua St John was asked to exit the vehicle and patted down. Joshua was
asked to take off his left shoe inside was a small baggy of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. Joshua was arrested and transported to
the Sac County Jail where he was booked in on possession of a controlled substance marijuana. At the jail it was found Joshua had $262.00 in cash in
his right shoe which was seized.
