What is Hijab?

Hijab means "a veil", "curtain", "to cover" or "to hide." in

other sense, Hijab means to cover women with a respectful
dress.

The most common meaning of Hijab today is the veil in

dressing for women. It refers to a certain standard of
modest dress for women, a modest dress according to the
Islamic legal systems require covering every part of the body.

Hijab in Modern age

Now the modern and highly educated Muslim women
well understand the benefits of Hijab in this modern era
and enjoy wearing designers’ veils with full confidence in
social participation and their work place. With wearing
designers’ veils, they do not display their beauty before
unrelated men but for their husbands as Allah ordered in
Quran. It is allowed to unveil before other women,
children and those men who are so closely related to
them that they are not allowed to marry them as per
order of Allah.

1. As per a survey, modern Muslim girls in India

prefer to wear Hijab while driving a bike or a car
they proud to wear hijab with working in office
and going to college etc. it is also being
observed that, lot of non Muslim women who
drive scooters /cars, love to wear scarves, long gloves and dust proof
aprons during their rides. It is being observed that, lot of non Muslim
women also prefer to wear scarves, gloves and aprons during their
driving.
 Quranic Verses about Hijab:
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard
their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except
what must ordinarily appear therof; that they should draw their veils over
their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their
fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their
brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons, or their women or the
servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical
needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they
should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden
ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you
may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31).

“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the
believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That
will be better, so that they may be recognised and
not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.”
(Quran 33:59)

Islam cannot be properly followed with leaving any of

the order of Allah. Hence it is compulsory upon each
and every woman in Islam to wear Hijab.

• Not diverting people's attention from
constructive social work.
• Improving the moral character of the society.
• Guarding from dust and Ultra Violet rays from

A Hijab show with a title of "ZEENAT-E-HIJAB"

is being proposed to hold to demonstrate the power
of women in hijab on ramp with latest fashioned
Hijab designed by various known and new comer
fashion designers. The show will also load up with
expressions of prominent Muslim clerics, scholars
and reformers to support the topic.

The motive & Massage

The show will promote and provide the

power of hijab among those ladies who
are still not aware with its benefits and
 importance. It will firmly build up the confidence among those who are
following the Islamic hijab rules.

A new dimension will put forward to hijab designers and its related
business.

Hijab designers

All hijab designers are invited to take part the show with their hijab promoting
designs. Designers have to apply on separate form at least 30 days before the
show.

Awards

Hijab designers will be awarded as under:

1st prize 25000/-

2nd prize 10000/-

3rd prize 5000/-
