To all who are interested in agriculture and the environment, we are pleased
to introduce our research and this years results.
OUR WORK
Since 1997 EUREKA has researched into the factors that contribute to a high
quality of life in the fields of agriculture, the environment, nutrition,
medicine, animal health, architecture, and inner growth. This study
extends to applied research and dissemination of results achieved and
education to new lifestyles.
OUR VISION
We are inspired by a holistic vision of man and of the natural worlds, which
includes the physical plane but does not neglect the more "subtle" planes
surrounding and informing the physical.
In this brief publication we present results relating to:
Increased soil fertility
Increased productivity of eggplant in polytunnels
Increased yield of grapes
Corn: varietal improvement, with resistance to drought, aflatoxin
and rootworm
Increase productivity and nutritional quality in wheat
Desalination of agricultural land

INCREASED SOIL FERTILITY

Site: La Nuova Terra Farm, Codroipo (Udine) - Italy
INITIAL CONDITIONS
Soil of the fourth class, which is the second lowest class in terms of
fertility, principly due to the high prevalence of rocks.
Part of the land heavily devitalized by the presence of a concrete
military runway, removed in the 90s.
Since 2003 the property has been cultivated organically-homeodynamic
and the land has never been left fallow.

ANALYSIS:
1995: organic matter between 2 and 2.2%.
2014: organic matter in the airstrips area = 4.1%.
2015 (April): organic matter in the airstrips area and nearby = between 3.9 and
4.6%.
Fertilization in the farm has always been very low: about 1/10 - 1/15 of
standard organic farming practice.
EXPERIMENTAL TESTS FOR A FURTHER INCREASE IN 2015
FERTILITY
April 2015: specific soil treatment to increase fertility.
August 2015: organic matter between 6.5 and 8.55% on a sample extracted
at 40 cm depth (previous were at -20 cm).
Note: it takes 10 years of organic fertiliziation to increase the organic matter
value by 1%. The costs is about 800-1000 / ha.
The increase value obtained in just 4 months can be estimated from 16 to
20,000 /ha. This is unattainable with "conventional" agriculture. Furthermore,
the cost of the fertilizing product is definitely less than the cost of the
"normal" fertilization (-70 / 80% compared to organic fertilization and -50 / 60%
compared to conventional).

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY
ON EGGPLANT
Site: La Nuova Terra Farm, Codroipo (Udine) - Italy
Test on EUREKA products to support the development of the plant and soil
fertility.
Plants: Eggplant, variety Galaxy F1.
Date transplant in tunnel: May 21, 2015.
Location: Farm La Nuova Terra, Codroipo (Udine - Italy).
Control plants in tunnel did not receive any treatment.
Treated plants in tunnel received homeodynamic treatment Anti-Drought
Seed bath". Moreover, in July 14, 2015 EUREKA fertilizing granules have
been scattered in the tunnel.

INCREASE IN VINEYARD PRODUCTIVITY

C.Z. farm in the province of Treviso - Italy
March 2012: plant Chardonnay (1.1 ha) into extremely clayey and very wet
soil (planted at 3m x 1.2m centres). Each plant has a EUREKA product that
stimulates production and pest resistance beneath it;
In 2012: pruned plants and bind of branches, since they were
already very vigorous;
In 2013 (first year): harvest 6.7 tons;
In 2014 (second year): harvest 18 tons;
In 2015 (third year): harvest 24.8 tons with 16.5 degrees sugar with
up to 70 bunches per plant. The 2015 harvest is twice that to be
expected from a vineyard that has 2 years more growth
(Chardonnay yields 8 to 11 tons/ha in its 5th/7th year).
Another important aspect is that the copper treatment was halved compared
to other vineyards managed by C.Z.
This reduction was extended to all the conventional treatments.

RESULTS WITH MAIZE

Farm La Nuova Terra, Codroipo (Udine) - Italy
THE PROJECT IN SUMMARY:
Selection of Maize with high resistance to drought (50-70%) and to
aflatoxins (carcinogenic fungi that enter the food chain) and high
productivity;
Application of cost-effective agricultural treatments as an alternative
to manuring and pesticide treatments.
EUREKA has accumulated experience over 30 years in improving seed in:
corn, spelt, Jerusalem artichokes, soy, sunflower and vegetables.
2015 RESULTS ON MAIZE:
Maize that has received only 33% irrigation produced 2 ears/cobs
per plant.
Many plants produced 3 to 5 ears (cobs) per plant and some plants
have developed more than one culm per seed.
Maize analysis shows a total absence of aflatoxins.

CORN ROOT WORM (Diabrotica Virgifera)

Tavano Farm - Sclaunicco di Lestizza (Ud Italy) - Summer 2015
Cultivation of maize using the homeodynamic method, and pest control.
Sow two maize varieties: white pearl and red.
Area: 3.75 ha.
No organic fertilizer. Soil was sprayed the homeodynamic Pro
Nitrogen.
The maize grown by the homeodynamic method was vigorous and
free of weeds.
Detected the presence of Diabrotica on plants, probably coming from
neighboring plots.
EUREKA made its own isotherapeutic and specific product.
Spraying the preparation on plants
Result:
Diabrotica removed in 48 hours!
Production: 6 tons of corn for white maize and 5 tons of corn for red
corn. The modest amount is due to low seeding density and the use of
the harrow, so in the future will improve.
Net revenue was 1,500 / hectare. Maize grown conventionally would
have made around 1600-1700 / hectare from which, however, you
must remove the costs for chemicals, corresponding to about 1000
/ha.

PRODUCTION OF SOFT WHEAT

Tavano Farm - Sclaunicco di Lestizza (Ud Italy) Summer 2015
Wheat grown by the homeodynamic method as part of a project to achieve
"Food Sovereignty" proposed by Molino Moras of Trivignano Udinese (Italy).
Project purpose: to produce 4000 tons of wheat in Mid Friuli region, not
suitable for the production of soft wheat.
Varieties of wheat: Ludwig
Area: 3 hectares
No organic fertilizer. Land was sprayed the homeodynamic
preparation Pro Nitrogen

Total production: 75 quintals

Result: the grain Tavano matched the quality marketable standards of
Lower Friuli test grains, in specific weight and proteins.
Net revenue was 1,500 / hectare. A cultivated conventionally-grown
wheat would make about 1300-1400 / hectare from which, however,
you must remove the costs for chemicals, corresponding to about
1000 / hectare.

YIELD IMPROVEMENT ON BAMBOO

The giant bamboo starts producing in three
years; inserting under the roots our
product that stimulates the growth, the
bamboo is supposed to start producing a
year earlier.
Expected extra profit:
50-60,000 / ha.
