In English 2010 I was able to:

Adapt strategies of argumentation for a given writing situation.

Adapt style and design for a given writing situation.

Write in multiple genres.

Convince, draft, and revise many kinds of documents, and

merge these processes independently.

Approach reading and research critically, analytically, and

rhetorically, choosing appropriate research strategies for a
particular writing task.

Cite sources appropriately for the writing situation, including

using an academic system of citation with a high degree of
proficiency.

Understand and respond critically to a civic conversation and

become a legitimate participant in that conversation.

Despite this class being challenging for me. I have learned allot about myself as a
writer through my writing. I have learned that I can over come the many learning
disabilities that Im faced with, such as anxiety just to name one. As long as I can focus
on the fact that writing is a way to express your self through words and that through my
writing I can make my voice heard and validate that what I have to say is important know
about. So even if you have learning disabilities you can capture your readers attention
and keep them engaged up until the very end. Through my writing I become a articulate
communicator on and off the paper.
As long as Im able to take the peer reviews for what they are intended for and
that is to help me develop to become a better writer. By writing in a way that your reader
is engaged in what you have to say and what you have to teach more about it important.
The peer review has helped me to improve my writing skills so the readers have a better
interpretation of the proposal Im trying to convey, and the position I stand for, and why
it should be important for them to understand more about. I know that my greatest
strengths are that Im willing to learn how to write a research paper that is acceptable for
Collage. The areas in which I struggle with is putting all the information together so that
it flows smoothly, and has a great transition from one viewpoint to another. So that I
dont go from right field into left field and beyond. To continue I also feel that the works
cited information takes me longer to do than the actual page itself because Im overly
concerned that it is not correct. And being perfect for me is important. If I can just look at
writing as a process that you are never really able to complete I will be just fine.
