Leadership Series Plan

To affect change on the local, state, and federal level, it is increasingly
important to have a savvy membership base that understands the
legislative process, how to deliver a concise message at public
hearings, use online advocacy tools, and speak to the media. This
series is designed to support program graduates as they grow into
their leadership roles as business owners in their communities.
Outlined below is a schedule for the eight workshops to meet the
objectives outlined above. Still to be determined is how to reach
graduates in all regions through this series and how to engage Latina
clients, particularly monolingual Spanish-speakers and English-learners
in this training module.
