Unit 3: Wonders of the World

Overview
In this unit you will read, talk and write about wonderful places using the
superlatives forms of adjectives with nouns; you will also learn how to ask
and answer questions about measurements with How + adjective|?
you will talk about human and natural wonders; you will also use short
responses
The overall aims of this unit are:
To learn to use superlatives to highlight that something or someone is different from the
rest.
To learn how to make questions with How(long, much,deep, etc).?
To use superlatives for emphasis
Here is a list of the online tasks which you need to work through during the
two weeks of this unit. We suggest that you print out this list, and keep it
near your deskyou can use it as a checklist to tick off the tasks that you
have completed.
Remember that all the activities need you to invest an estimated amount of
time detailed in the table below and that it is very important to meet the
deadlines.
