Listening to others: To start off, Ive never been employed anywhere so I dont really have work
experience. Ive always been a fulltime student athlete, but I still feel that I am strong in the skills I have
selected. I really like listening to what other people have to say, their input on things is always important
to me and I have been told that Im a good listener.
Relating to the public: I can easily relate to the public because I am almost always up to date with the
latest music, internet, and behavior trends that go around constantly.
Collaborating Ideas: A lot of the time I really enjoy hearing what others have to say about their ideas on
certain things, and I think putting them all together can create something great. I used to be big into
making vine videos, and when someone else was in the video with me, we would both come up with ideas
and mix them together.
Editing Work: I think Im good at editing videos and pictures because I used to do a lot of that back in the
day when I used to want to be a YouTuber.
Throughout my life I have noticed and I have been told that if Im working on something that Im
interested in, I am very thorough with it and pay attention to details.
I am not afraid to express my feelings, whether it comes to talking about them with people or expressing
them through social media or videos, photos etc. I dont like keeping them in all the time.
Estimating Physical Space: I think that I have good spatial awareness. For example, if I see an empty room,
I pretty much know what will fit in certain places and what would not fit, and how to arrange things in a
way that would work well.
Enduring Long Hours: Ive been playing football since I was in 8 th grade and I am currently a WSU football
player, so I have a lot of experience in enduring long hours. I leave every morning at about 7 and I dont
get home until around 7:30 each night.

To whom it concerns,
I am writing in response to the job posting of INSERT JOB TITLE in Issaquah, Washington for
INSERT COMPANY NAME while searching indeed.com. When I ran across this job and read the
description, I applied right away. I am a recent student-athlete graduate of Washington State University,
where I earned my Bachelor of Art in MARKETING/BUSINESS.
I believe that I qualify for this position, because I have endured years of tedious academic and
athletic schedule, in which I was lifting heavy in the weight room, waking up early for classes, studying
film, and sitting through countless meetings. I have ran across a wide diversity of people throughout my
college career, which has improved my communication skills dramatically in recent years.
In closing, I would like to thank you for your time and consideration in reading my letter. I can
assure you that I am a reliable and hard-working individual that you can count on to always get the job
done properly and in a timely manner. I am very driven, and always come through when I set my sights
to achieving greatness. Again, I greatly appreciate your time, and I am looking forward to hearing back
from you about the possibility of an interview.

Sincerely,
Andreas Dillard
