Reflective Writing Questions for the ePortfolio Project
Reflection involves serious thought: looking back on your learning and experiences, and
making connections between the past, the present, and possibilities for the future.

1. Describe your project. (2 pts)

I made my project into a power point. I will show a short slide show on how society
was back in the civil rights movement. From schooling, media, to music. I will show the
basic/Important stuff about this time.

2. What course theme(s) does your project relate to? (Critical Thinking; Happiness and the
Good Life; Responses to Nature; Freedom, Justice, and Responsibility; Identity, Privilege,
and Inequalities). (1 pt)
My theme represents how Freedom, Identity, and Privilege began for people back in
the late 1900s

3. Discuss in detail as many connections between your project and the chosen theme(s) as
you can. Include specific references to at least one text that we studied in class. Be sure to
provide the author and title of the text(s) that you discuss, and give page references for all
paraphrases and quotes. (7 pts)
For freedom, it is a big part of the civil rights movement. That is the fight that many
people fought for years and years. For Identity, we see that African Americans have always
been identified as bad people, but when reality they were not. Who decides to say that the
color of your skin is worth your wealth or not?

4. Discuss the process of completing your project. What difficulties did you encounter
along the way, and how did you deal with them? (2 pts) What insights have you gained
about your topic and/or yourself during this process? (3 pts)5. How have this project and
other elements of the course helped you to progress toward achieving your educational
and/or personal goals? (5 pts)
Just finding out what I should say. How to explain a certain matter well for my audience to
understand. I tired and retyped many sentences over and over just so it can sound well. I

dont really know honestly, I gained the knowledge of knowing more about the civil rights
movement? In general, it helped me push through my educational goals. It made me realize
that I should be glad Im going to school. Because not many people can have that
opportunity.
