Constitution & Bylaws
Some dream of success, while others wake up and work for it.

PURPOSE
The purpose of CROWDCORE - The Marketing Club at Woxsen is to provide opportunities for students
to develop professionally by engaging in marketing-related activities. By doing so, students gain
valuable marketing knowledge outside the classroom and build their marketing skills to forge a
stronger path toward a successful business career.

PREAMBLE
Whereas we believe that a group of college students interested in the field of marketing should organize
for mutual benefit, we hereby establish the marketing club at Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad
CROWDCORE.

ARTICLE I. PURPOSE
The purpose of CROWDCORE The Marketing Club at Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad is:
To increase awareness of marketing
To build professional experiences through marketing activities
To improve the methods and techniques of marketing research
To develop better public understanding and appreciation of marketing problems
To study and discuss various marketing methods
To improve marketing personnel
To grow our marketing skills through professional development
To encourage and uphold sound, honest practices to keep marketing operations on a high ethical
plane
To promote friendly relations between students, faculty, and business people

ESTABLISHED ON 10th SEPTEMBER, 2015 BY THE STUDENT COUNCIL OF WOXSEN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

ARTICLE II. MEMBERSHIP


Membership is open to students of any elective and background who are interested in marketing and any
other individuals who are approved by the Executive Board at CROWDCORE. Membership is also open to
the faculty and management.

ARTICLE III. EXECUTIVE BOARD


The executive board consists of The President of Woxsen School of Business, Vice President of Woxsen
School of Business, President of CROWDCORE The Marketing Club and three Executive Members of
CROWDCORE as well as any other officers deemed necessary by the collegiate chapter.

ARTICLE IV. DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT & EXECUTIVE MEMBERS


The president's duties shall be to preside over all meetings, to appoint all special committees, manage
the events organized by CROWDCORE, acquire guest speakers and to be the chairperson of the executive
board.
The executive members shall perform the duties of the president in the president's absence.

ARTICLE V. COMMITTEES
There shall be the following standing committees: The Executive Board, The Program Committee, and
The Administration Committee.
The Executive Board, which consists of The President of Woxsen School of Business, Vice President of
Woxsen School of Business, President of CROWDCORE The Marketing Club and three Executive Members
of CROWDCORE, shall decide on the policies of the group, as well as aid and advise the president of
his/her duties.
The Administration Committee will be set up by CROWDCORES President and Executive Members. It is
in charge of budget control (maintaining a financial book), running a smooth flow of the agenda for each
meeting, noting the time of the meeting and writing a brief document about the meetings and the Skype
tutorials, field visits, industry (real time) projects and campus visits by specialists in the minutes and
agenda book.
The Program Committee will be set up by CROWDCORES President and Executive Members. It is in charge
of administering and ensuring the smooth process of any event organized by CROWDCORE. The events
include Skype tutorials, field visits, industry (real time) projects and campus visits by specialists. This
committee may vary depending upon the nature of each event.

BYLAWS
A copy of the constitution of CROWDCORE shall be provided for each member of the club and the
executive board. The constitution will be reviewed annually to ensure that it is in keeping with the needs
and activities of the collegiate chapter.
The number, location and times of meetings shall be determined by the executive board. Notice of all
such meetings shall be posted or sent in writing to all members not less than five days in advance of the
date set for the meeting.
The last ten minutes of each club meeting shall be a members review about the club; its proceedings,
the changes that should be brought about and whether members are happy with the agenda.
Each club meeting should have a minimum of 90% attendance, failing which the meeting could be called
off upon the discretion of the executive board of CROWDCORE.
Every month, a report on the months activities and proceedings at CROWDCORE must be submitted to
the President and the Vice President of Woxsen School of Business.
