Muhammad: Can anyone explain to me whatd happen in this News? Nerhu, Sigh, or
Gandhi?
Gandhi : Maybe our future?Muhammad.Right now, those technology isnt invented yet. In the
future, Pakistan and India will be on the conflict trying to take Kashmir, and Kashmir will be
divided for each because of the UN solution.

Muhammad: What! Are we going to have a conflict against each other for that long time? if
we still follow the same plan?
Nehru: I think so, it seems really terrible. I formerely hoped that after India got independence
from the British. We all will live happily and peacefully. I as a leader of India nation, with all of
my citizens just faced a hardtime and tried to cope with it. Those violent movements such as
Amritsar Massacre, the Salt March that British acted to us are brutal enough. I dont want
any bloodshed anymore.
Singh: I have an idea.
Muhammad: Whats it?
Singh: Separation might be a good idea but, as the majority of our people is Muslim, I dont
think that changing them to be Indians will be a good decision. Muslim people, of course,
want to live with muslims so, they will definitely want to go to Pakistarn. However not
everyone can get there so people with different religions in India will use violent to each
other like the event that just happened when you separated India and Pakistan as many
people were killed when they didnt move to the place that they should be. So, I think, to
solve this problem, we should let Kashmir independent.
Muhammad: Hey wait wait. Is this meaning that Pakistan and India wont get anything
from Kashmir? I dont think thats a good idea.
Nerhu: I understand what you mean, Singh. However, I have a concern about the survival of
the new independent country. There might be conflict within your country. Like my country at
first, when India was about to be independent from British, there was a struggle between
Hindus and Muslim group. Those Muslim afraid of the election that will come out to be a
government dominated by Hindus since they are the majority. I mentioned this because I
want to remind you that in order to be an independent country, it wont be that easy.
Muhammad :I agree with you Nehru. If there are any problem occur after your country
become independent then Kashmir will even worse.
Sigh: Then, how long have you controlled your new independent country. (You seems like
you are very experienced)

Gandhi: I dont think that I like the idea of seperation. You know that we have came up with
many non-violent tactics such as noncooperation, boycotts and the salt march in order to
fight for independence. Those things took a long time and caused lots of deaths. However, if
that is the best way to solve this problem, then fine.
Muhammad: How about sharing some part of Kashmir to Pakistan and then let you control
the rest of the land?
Nerhu: Thats almost the same plan as we decided at first. You guys just saw in the news, it
will cause the great conflict between us.
Singh: Seriously, your impuduce is too extreme, it will not get you any good.
Muhammad : are you blaming at meh? Hun? Hari Singh
Sigh: I did not mention anyone. Dont be so defensive.

Gandhi:Calm down. If we cant end with any agreement, then just seperate. Its better than
acting violently to each other.
Muhammad : Hey if youre said so that then How about Muslim people who live in Kashmir?
Sigh: Every people will be treated equally whether they are muslim or hindu. We wont use
any violent to control our people like what British did to us before. Did you remember the
Rawlett act that British jailed us because they wanted us to stop protesting. We dont want
that to happen in our country again so, people will have freedom to do things under the laws.
Gandhi If this idea can prevent our people from using violence, then, i would support this
idea.
Nerhu: If we dont have any better ideas, I agree then.
Muhammad : Wait...but how can I ensure that you will treat everyone fairly? If people are
treated unequally, those who lost benefit will come out and protest. Which is same as the
Amritsar Massacred. The event where Indian people were unhappy with the Lawlatt Act..
Wehv lost more than 400 people and 1200 people were wounded.
Sigh: To make it official, lets propose up with a treaty, you can make sure that I will be fair to
every people in Kashmir. I garuntee that it will bring us peace.
Muhammad : If you guy are sure that this would be the best solution then I wouldnt have
any problem.
Gandhi: Please keep in your mind that everything should be based on non-violence.
Muhammad : What if Muslim are injured by the Indian. How are you going to do with those
people?
Sigh : so the first argument that will be stated in the treaty is People need to change their
nationality to be Kashmir. So, from now on, there wont be any Muslims or Hindus but Kasmir
people who have the right to be in any religion.
Nerhu: The second point that should be stated is, the one who dont want to be in the
Kashmir or dont want to change their nationality, will be able to move back to their original
hometown in either India or Pakistan.
Gandhi:I have a suggestion for you guys. Your countries should be completely seperated for
a while in order to avoid the violence that might be happened. By this point, we can make
sure that the conflict between different religions wont occur.
Nerhu: What do you mean by completely seperated? Are you meaning that people arent
able to travel to other countries?
Gandhi Yes, I mean no transfer no travel and also no trade
Sigh : If we can, i would like us to be separated for 30 years in order to systematize our
contries to fall into place and keep everything under control.
Muhammad !!!! 30 years!? I think that it is too long.

Muhammad : How would you punish the people who breaks the treaty? Is it based on the
Kashmirs, Indias or Pakistans law?
Nerhu: It wont be based on any three of us. To make it fair for everyone, the one who
breaks the treaty will be judged by The International Court of Justic or ICJ.
Sigh: I agree with that.
