JB: To our honorable Zamboanga City Medical Center President, Dr. Romeo
Ong, our Chief of Medical Professional and Staff, Dr. Soraya Abubakar, our
________________ and Chair of our Christmas party, Dr. Myrna Angeles, our
Chief Nurse, Dr. Evelyn Monsanto, our Chief Administrative Officer, Ms.
Violeta Magaso, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant
evening! We would like to welcome you all to our year-end celebration, with
the theme, ZCMC GOES HOLLYWOOD . For those who dont know me, I
am Dr. JaybeeBazan and with me is Ms. Pamela Santos, and we will be your
hosts for tonight.
Pam: Hello Philippines and Hello ZCMC folks! It is indeed my pleasure to be
here with you tonight. Thank you very much for inviting me over in your
grand and most awaited Christmas party. It feels so good to be here and it
feels so great to spend time with all the wonderful, energetic, talented, and
very warm people of ZCMC.
Tonight is an exceptional evening! I would like to invite everyone to capture
the magical moments in this evenings affair, let's create happy memories
and let's surround ourselves with laughter and friendship as we celebrate
this special occasion.
JB: I am so glad that so many special people have been able to join us this
evening. Its so wonderful to see everyone in their beautiful and lovely suits and Hollywood
attires! Which is totally not the usual uniforms we see at the hospital Well, tonight is all about
celebrating and I urge everybody to have fun and enjoy the rest of the evening.
Pam: Who are you depicting tonight Doc JB?
JB: ***
Pam: Well, as for me, would you like to guess? I am wearing a costume of
one of the worlds most captivating movie, Somewhere In Time. Which is
one of my favorites.
JB: Great! I guess thats one of those heavy drama movies that made so
many girls cryand maybe some guys tooAnyhow, ZCMC people, are you
ready for the night of your lives? Alright, lets rock and roll!
Pam: Are you ready for a night of fun and celebration? Well, lets start the
ball rolling Dov Jb. Ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome the ZCMC Choir
to lead us in the doxology to be followed by the singing of the national
anthem, Zamboanga Hermosa, ZCMC Hymn and DOH Hymn.

JB: You may now sit back, relax, and enjoy. There are a whole lot of treats
and surprises in stored by the program committee, headed by Dr. Myrna
Angeles, for all of us tonight. And now ladies and gentlemen, to formally
welcome everyone, please give a warm round of applause to Dr. Elpidio
Malasig, President of the ZCMC Employees Association.

Pam: Thank you very much Doctor Malasig! And thank you as well for
having an active role in the preparations for this party. I believe the true
spirit of Christmas, which is sharing and giving love and blessings to others
is so much felt in our midst tonight. At this juncture, let us all be inspired as
we give our undivided attention to Dr. Romeo Ong, as he delivers his
message.

intensify as we shall be satisfying our tummys cravingsbut just before

JB: As Christmas is a time for giving, lets start the first raffle draw. May we
call in Doctor Malasig to explain to everyone the mechanics of our raffle
bonanza.

Pam: Ladies and gentlemen, i-----tsshowtime ZCMC! I am so excited and I
believe everyone is very thrilled tonight as we

will be witnessing the talents of the different units and sectors of

ZCMC.But before we start with the different presentations, please help me
in welcoming Dr. Myrna Angeles for the introduction of our panel of judges.

Introduction of the Panel of Judges

JB: And for the mechanics, I would like to read to you these guidelines.
1. The participating groups will be coming from the five divisions,
namely: Medical Department, Nursing Department, Administration
Department, Finance Department, and Ancillary Department.
2. Each participating group shall prepare a Hollywood-inspired
production number, which may be individual or group. This musical
spectacle involves song and dance.
3. The presentation must be within five to ten minutes.
4. A five-point deduction will be made if performance exceeds the time
limit.
Pam: I would like to walk you through the Criteria for Judging:
OVERALL PERFORMANCE 30% - This criterion is defined as the
ability of the performers to present original material that draws
positive response from the audience with personality, originality, and
poise.
Next is STAGE APPEARANCE which is 20%. This means the ability of
the performers to present themselves based on their character with
confidence, personality, and originality.
The third is ORIGINALITY which is 20%. This is defined as creating a
piece of work that is distinctive or different from the other performers.
Or basically presenting an original piece.
Another is PERSONALITY which is also 20%. It is not just how much
the participant smiles in the performance but rather the ability of the
contestants to put their hearts and character into their performance.
And the last one is AUDIENCE IMPACT which is 10%. Contrary to
popular belief, this is not solely based on the final applause of the
audience after the performance but is rather based on the ability of
the contestants to draw the attention of the audience and eliciting a
positive response.
For a total of 100%.

Pam: At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, this is a special part of the
program. We shall be recognizing the relentless efforts and commitment of
those who have stayed with ZCMC for several years now. To present our
Service Awardees, I would like to call in Ms. Violeta Magaso, ZCMC Chief
Administrative Officer.

those people who have exemplified excellent customer service. And for this

Pam: It has been a wonderful evening with you all and a pleasure being your
co-host Doc JB . Thank you once again for inviting me here. I had such a
great time knowing you and the others. Thank you Doc Malasig for
introducing me to everyone and for making me feel like a member of the
ZCMC family. I hope everyone had a wonderful time.
JB: Congratulations everyone for a great year! Thank you all for coming, and
lets spread the good news the Christmas holidays bring! Merry Christmas

Prayer before Christmas Dinner

God of all gifts, we thank you for the many ways you have blessed us this day. We are grateful each
of those who are gathered around this table. We ask you to bless us and our food and to bless those
we love who are not with us today. In our gratitude and love, we remember your humble birth into
our lives and pray for those who are without enough to eat. We remember the stable in which you
were born and pray for those who have no place to live. We remember your challenging message of
caring and giving and we pray for peace in families and nations throughout the world. We bless
you and give you thanks in your Spirit who brings our hearts to life the Christmas Day and forever.
