Hoolr/Attention Grabber: write on the whiteboard that they need their sketchbooks and pencils.
"Comingfrom realism, your brains are all in a very analytical state because you were trying to make these images
look qbsolutely perfect. It's time to give our brqins q break and to do thqt we are going to get as far uway from
creating detail as possible by learning how to gestare drqw!"
Assessment of Prior Knowledge: Who can tell me what a gesture dra,ving is?
Advance Organizer/Agenda: Jirst I'm going to give a presentation on what gesture drawing is and how to do it, we
will watch afew short video aeamples and then ifwe ltave time we will do or,e or two gesture dratnings at the end of
the class. After 4 lessons we will be making a final piece that will be a collection of gesture fuawings all on one page,
we will go through the rubric together in a liulewhile, butfirst...
