Full Description :AioFlo is a powerful and user-friendly Windows application that performs pipe sizing, flow rate and pressure
drop calculations for liquids and isothermal gases. Information for a wide range of fittings such as entrances,
exits, bends, tees, reducers, valves and orifices is built in. The resistance coefficients (K-values) are calculated
using the Hooper and Darby methods for the laminar and turbulent flow regimes. Friction factors are
automatically calculated (using the Churchill equation) for all flow regimes. Changes in elevation from inlet to
outlet are taken into account. The pressure drop for liquids is also expressed in terms of head of flowing fluid for
pump sizing.
The program includes data tables for pipe size and roughness. Units handling is unparalleled, allowing the units
for any individual property to be set independently, or in predefined sets (US Customary, SI Units and Metric
Units) and in user-defined sets of mixed units. Viscosities can be specified in dynamic or kinematic units.
Flow rates can be specified and calculated in mass or volumetric terms. The calculation results can be saved to
disk, and printed to neat single page reports. AioFlo also includes the facility to perform preliminary sizing and
capacity calculations based on typical velocities when insufficient data is available to perform a detailed
hydraulic calculation.
The AioFlo program is totally self-contained and has no dependency on any frameworks, run-time libraries or
DLLs.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
This program is distributed as a single zipped file with the name AioFlo.zip which contains the setup file.
Copy the ZIP file to a temporary directory (folder) and unzip it into the same folder. This will produce two files - This
ReadMe.rtf file and the AioFlo_Setup.exe installation file.
Run the AioFlo_Setup.exe file. This will install the program into the \Program Files\AioFlo directory, although you
can select a different folder if you want to.
After installation the program will appear in your menu structure as Start | Programs | AioFlo and an icon will be
placed on the desktop.
An uninstall option will also be added to your menu.
DETAILED OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The detailed instructions are included as on-line Help. When the program runs, select the Help menu command or
press the F1 key and detailed, indexed help will be available.
PURCHASING INSTRUCTIONS
AioFlo is distributed as a try-before-you buy evaluation version. This means you are free to use this evaluation copy
of AioFlo to determine its value and usefulness to you. The evaluation version of AioFlo will allow you to run it 10
times. Apart from this restriction on the number of runs, the evaluation version is fully functional.
During the evaluation period, each time you start the program it will advise you how many runs you have remaining.
At the end of the trial period the program will no longer allow you to perform calculations.
Only if you find AioFlo to be worth the asking price do you register and pay. If AioFlo does not meet your needs or
standards then it has cost you nothing and you simply uninstall it from your disk.

At the time of writing AioFlo can be bought for US$ 29.95 (or the equivalent in many other currencies) for a single
user license. A site license costs US$ 249.00 and an enterprise license costs US$ 1999.00. Full details of the
registration process are included in the help files within the program. Facilities are available for purchasing over the
internet or by phone or by fax. Payment can be made by credit card, PayPal, wire transfer or purchase order.
When you register, you will be emailed a password which will convert your evaluation version to the full version
without any run restrictions. The license gives you the right to download and use all upgrades that might be
released within 12 months of your date of purchase. If you pay by credit card you can receive your password
almost immediately.
