Dear Sir:
Good day! In line with the goals to learning and to develop camaraderie among
accountancy students, the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants BSU Local
Chapter would like to conduct the ACCOUNTING SHOWDOWN 2016, an
accounting quiz bowl on September 28, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Registration starts at 8:30 AM, at the Multi-media Rm 1, CITE Bldg.
The aforementioned event will be participated by different year levels. Bookkeeper
Level will be represented by two (2) students, Junior Accountantand Senior
Accountant Level will be represented by five (5) students and Auditor Level will be
represented by ten (10) students. Winners will receive cash prize and medals.
In connection with the quiz bowl, we are cordially asking for the following
recommendation:
1. To allow us to support the conduct of the event;
2. To use the said venue, Multimedia Rm1;

Requirements
1. The participant must be currently enrolled in the BS Accountancy program and
had taken either partially or fully the subjects covered by the corresponding contest.
2. A maximum of two (2) participants for the Bookkeeper Level, five (5) participants
for the Junior Accountant and Senior Accountant Level and ten (10) participants for
the Auditor Level may be sent by each section for the academic contests.
Scope
The accounting cup will be comprised of four levels: the Bookkeeper Level,
the Junior Accountant Level, the Senior Accountant Level and the Auditor Level.
The following are the subjects covered by each level as well as the required year
