EKD District DCPI - Training

Church Planting Essentials
Churches Planting Churches
January 20-21, 2017
Location: Ashland First
What church planting training is available?
Church Planting Essentials (CPE) is church planting basic training.
Churches Planting Churches (CPC) is church sponsorship 101 - Vision.
The materials were created by Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI), based upon
years of working in mission areas where the church is expanding rapidly.

Why this training and not something else?

Its Simple: Basic principles to apply to a variety of church plant models in many contexts
Its Reproducible: Geared toward creating churches that will multiply
Its Re-Teachable: Contains sessions that certify attendees to reteach the material
Its Low-Cost: The cost will cover the registration fee for your training track and three meals.
Course materials are included free of charge. Travel, lodging, and any remaining expenses would
be on your own.

How much will it cost and where will this training be held?
$35 (Includes registration fee and three meals; course materials provided free of charge).

What does the training schedule look like?

December is Compassionate Ministries Month! Around

the world, Nazarene churches will take one Sunday
this month to celebrate and learn about the ways the
local church is taking action through compassionate
ministries.
To get some free resources for your Sunday service,
including prayer videos, talking points, and the
"Living In The Margins" video, visit ncm.org/
compassion.
As I reflect on 2016, I want to say a big THANK
YOU to all of you who have worked within NMI
during the past year. Much has been achieved
due to your work. Lives have been transformed.
Circumstances have been changed. Peoples
lives will be very different this Christmas
because of you.
Suella Slibeck, NMI President

A Note From the DS:

Joni and I would like to thank you for the many ways you have shown your love
to us and our family during this year. We especially want to thank you for your
thoughtfulness in recognizing Jonis birthday and for the generous Christmas
bonus given to me at the Christmas luncheon. We are blessed and our hearts are
full of gratitude for the Eastern Kentucky District. We love you!
