Scratch Project 3: Nursery Rhyme (will count as a major grade)

1. Go to the following website and choose a nursery rhyme that begins with the
first letter of the letter assigned to you (bottom middle). Your nursery rhyme
must have at least 2 verses or at least 30 words. (But please do not stop in
the middle of a verse!)
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~pfa/dreamhouse/nursery/rhymes/
2. Recreate the nursery rhyme. Use text box sprites (hint: paintbrush) for lyrics
and character sprites for your characters.
3. Enhance your nursery rhyme through say boxes, sound effects, animation
(costume changes, etc). Be creative!
4. Read the rubric at the bottom for specific directions and grading
requirements. For example, you need:
a. 4 character sprites
b. 4 backgrounds
c. Lyrics
d. Animation
e. Title, author, The End: with applause (sound)
5. Have fun and be creative. You want to reenact the nursery rhyme to the
closest that you can to the storyline. All lyrics must be free from spelling,
grammar, and punctuation errors, so copy the lyrics carefully!
6. Enjoy!
