Release Notes: Ionizer Firmware R25_rc1

1. Introduction:
This Ionizer Firmware Release R25_rc1 provides the capabilities to support
multiple Access Points on each of the two radios in the IONizers. Each
radio can support up to 4 SSIDs with all seven security features. Each
SSID can be mapped to any configured VLAN on the Ethernet interface.

Note: RC25_rc1
When the IONizers are configured for the multiple Access Points on each of the
radios, the system is stable for all configurations except when both radios (radio#0
and radio#1) are configured with the identical SSIDs. When the operating in this
mode there is high percentage of packet loss and the connection reliability is very
poor.
Theoretically you can support 4 SSIDs on each radio but in our testing we found that
you can have a maximum 2 SSID on each radio. Any more than this, you get a very
high performance hit.
It is recommended to use unique SSIDs for each of the Access Points and to limit the
number of SSIDs on each radio to 2 maximum.
