OVERHAUL AND REPAIR LIMITED WARRANTY

PT6 ENGINES AND ACCESSORIES
This Overhaul and Repair Limited Warranty provides limited warranty coverage for
overhauled PT6 engines and accessories, and repairs, performed by United Turbine
(UT). Each such overhaul or repair is warranted as follows:
1. For a period of seven (7) years, or upon reaching the manufacturers STANDARD
TBO, whichever occurs first, UT will repair or replace any overhauled engine returned
to UT which is found to the satisfaction of UT to be defective in materials or
workmanship. The warranty activation date is the date the engine is first operated for
any use after overhaul, or the 90th day after UTs invoice date, whichever occurs first.
2. For a period of one (1) year, or one thousand (1,000) hours, whichever occurs first,
UT will repair or replace any repaired engine returned to UT which is found to the
satisfaction of UT to be defective in materials or workmanship. The warranty activation
date is the date the engine is first operated for any use after the repair, or the 90th day
after UTs invoice date, whichever occurs first.
3. For a period of one (1) year or one thousand (1,000) hours, whichever occurs first,
UT will repair or replace any overhauled accessory returned to UT which is found to the
satisfaction of
UT to be defective in materials or workmanship. The warranty
activation date is the date the accessory is first operated for any use after the overhaul, or
the 30th day after UTs invoice date, whichever occurs first.
4. For a period of six (6) months or five hundred (500) hours, whichever occurs first,
UT will repair or replace any repaired accessory returned to UT which is found to the
satisfaction of
UT to be defective in materials or workmanship. The warranty
activation date is the day after UTs invoice date.
5. UT will, at its option, replace any defective engine with an overhauled engine, and
any defective accessory with a new or overhauled accessory.

6. Repair or replacement of any engine or accessory under this warranty will not extend
the period of warranty coverage set forth above.
7. This warranty does not apply to any engine or accessory overhauled or repaired by
UT which (1) has been subject to misuse, neglect, or accident; (2) has been installed,
repaired, maintained or altered in any way that in the judgment of UT has adversely
affected the condition of the engine or accessory; (3) has been operated inconsistent with
UT and engine manufacturer recommendations and limitations; or (4) has been changed
from its original FAA certificated configuration.
8. UT will not be responsible for the repair or replacement of any engine or accessory
that has failed as a result of corrosion, operation with non-calibrated engine gauges,
improper fuel system adjustment, non-approved fuel, oil grades, or additives, or
installation of non-approved parts or components that alter the engines original type
design.
9. The provisions of this warranty do not apply to normal maintenance service, or to the
replacement of normal service items.
10. THIS WARRANTY IS A WARRANTY TO REPAIR OR REPLACE AND NOT A
WARRANTY OF THE CONDITION OR FUTURE PERFORMANCE OF THE
PRODUCTS WHICH IT COVERS. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, SPECIFICALLY, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, THERE
ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL UT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY
SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT
NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE AND DELAY IN DELIVERY.
11. This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, excepting its conflicts
of laws rules.
12. No person is authorized to give any other warranty or to assume any additional
obligation or liability on behalf of UT.
