The Goal of the Counseling department is to


provide students and parents the necessary
information and resources to assist with their
students specific needs. Utilizing referrals and
other resources.

Students that may have any type of issue


small or big can come in at any time to get
the help they need. Teachers and faculty
also can make referrals if they are worried
about a student as well.

counselors/faculty/administration and parents
alike to make sure our students are ready.

As counselors we want every student to be
successful. To ensure that we give students this
chance we offer to provide resources to help with
the developmental needs of students as well as
help advance areas of strength.

Working together is vital in the success of
students. Our job as counselors is to make sure
we all are on the same page when it comes to the
needs of our students.

Counselors work in coordination with staff


to work with students in a classroom
setting. Presentations touch on career
exploration, personal/ social behaviors and
tips to be successful in school.

Individual and Small Group


Counseling-Referrals
Counselors work with students on an
individual basis and small groups
focusing on the development of students
and issues they may have. Peers groups
and other outlets are provide if needs
exist.
Academic Planning
Counselors will work in conjunction
with staff to provide students the best
options for their success allowing for
them to become mature decision
makers and overall successful in school
in all areas.
