Monitoring module DCM / EDCM is an outstanding solution

for HFC network management and monitoring. Thanks
to build-in DOCSIS / EuroDOCSIS modem, it simplies
implementation of management system for optical nodes
and broadband ampliers. The solution uses existing
DOCSIS/EuroDOCSIS environment and equipment, driving
signicantly down costs of Network Management System
implementation.

DCM/EDCM module enables optical node management

and monitoring using web browser, no proprietary software
required and access to nodes web page is free. Through a
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) interface,
standard MIBs are used for efcient network monitoring
and management. SNMP standard enables cooperation
with new VECTOR Craft Management Software (CMS) and
additionally with open monitoring systems (e.g. Omni2000)
using access to MIB base.
