1 GENERAL INFORMATION
Booster series GV variable speed booster sets are designed to transfer and increase the pressure of water in
plumbing systems in homes, offices, communities and industry, whilst optimizing power consumption.
This manual describes the characteristics and programming of the electronic control board, hereinafter known as
SD60. Consult the relative manual for the operating and maintenance instructions of the set.
SD60 is a microprocessor-controlled electronic controller, developed in compliance with RoHS European standards
to offer multiple applications in the pressure boosting sector. It assures absolute versatility of application and allows
tailored products to be developed for customers.
2

The programme and parameters are saved to a FLASH-MEMORY and E prom to ensure they are maintained in the
event of a power cut.
The standard hardware architecture also allows it to be connected to supervision systems (BMS) exchanging digital

and analog variables. The ModBus serial communication protocol is used as a standard. Optional external modules
can be used to connect to supervision systems based on different communication protocols

WARNING

In the variable speed booster sets with SD60 controller, the suction pressure, of the
group, must be constant in time.

The SD60 electronic controller manages four different control variants:

ECO: System comprising 2 to 6 pumps and just one inverter frequency converter connected to the
same pump.

FULL: System comprising 2 to 6 pumps with just one inverter frequency converter. The inverter can
be interchanged on the system pumps. Exchange is achieved by a sequence of interlocked
contactors.

MIX: System comprising 2 to 6 pumps and more than one inverter frequency converter, up to a
maximum of n-1, where n is the number of pumps.

SERIAL: System comprising 2 to 6 pumps and inverter. Each pump is powered by an inverter
frequency converter.

FIX: System comprising 2 to 6 pumps all working at a fixed speed.

MIX and SERIAL system are only possible if the inverter is controlled by the ModBus communication
protocol via RS485.

Indicate, if present, the standby pump and its operating mode.
0 (No): not present.
1 (Fix): fixed speed.
2 (Inverter): variable speed.

The standby pump only operates if a service pump shuts down following an overload. It is possible to have just
one standby pump per set.
If the system is ECO (GVE) or FIX (GS), the standby pump, if enabled, ONLY alternates with fixed speed pumps.
If the system is FULL (GVF), the standby pump, if enabled, only alternates with fixed speed pumps. The standby
pump is NEVER inverter powered.
If the system is MIX (GVM), the standby pump, if enabled, is only fixed speed and only alternates with fixed speed
pumps.
If the system is SERIAL (GVS), the standby pump, if enabled, is ONLY variable speed and alternates with the
other pumps.

INVERTER OP. MODE

Serial cascade
Synchronous

Serial cascade

In multi-pump sets and with more than one inverter, the SD60 controller can manage two different operating
modes for inverter-powered pumps.
- Serial cascade: The SD60 controller, in the Serial cascade mode, will automatically adapt variable pump
speed according to the change in the controlled parameter. In this mode, therefore, the variable speed pumps
can operate at different speeds/frequencies. Advantages: Energy saving and switching for optimising the
working hours of each pump.
- Synchronous: In the Synchronous Cascade mode, the SD60 controller optimises performance, accurate
control and maximum energy saving compared with the Serial Cascade mode. The Synchronous mode
controls pump operation by making them all work at the same speed and frequency. The SD60 controller
manages starting and stopping of all the pumps according to system requirements and continuously selfadapts in order to assure maximum power performance. This characteristic allows the inverter to offset the
reductions in mechanical efficiency caused by wear. The Synchronous mode offers a reliable and redundant
system.
083

INVERTER FAULT

Shutdown
Shutdown
Press. sensor
Shutdown: in case all the inverters develop a fault, the SD60 control unit shuts down the entire pump assembly.
Press. sensor: in case all the inverters develop a fault, the pump assembly continues to operate at a fixed speed.
09
REMOTE CONTROL
No
No
Yes
Adjustment, also known as feedback, is the capacity of the dynamic control systems to consider system
behaviour in order to modify its characteristics.
Two control types can be used:
- Remote control NO = Select NO to allow the PID SD60 process controller to control the required quantity,
such as pressure (SET POINT). The feedback signal is generated by the electronic sensor and the input
function is completely decided by the PID adjuster of the SD60 electronic controller. The speed of the
inverter-powered pump motor and the operating logic (start/stop) of the fixed-speed pumps will be
determined by a reference given by the PID controller of the SD60 unit as part of the closed-loop control
process (e.g.: constant pressure or flow).
- Remote control YES (from serial) = If remote control is set, the SD60 is remote controlled by an external
supervisor. In this condition, the external controller (e.g.: PLC) has access to the following functions:

Auto-Man switching;

If set to Man, the digital and analogue outputs can be individually controlled;

Set point changing.

Available parameters, read-only:

Status of all inputs and outputs;

Status of the pump set: auto, man, run (at least one pump running) and stop (no pump running), fault
(if a shutdown alarm is active);

Alarm type and code, if active;

Value of the active setpoint.

N.B.:
1) Inverter operation via serial communication cannot be remote controlled. To remote control the inverter from a
SD60, command the inverter via analogue output AO1(AO2). In this condition, SD60 must be switched to manual,
via serial or from the panel.
2) The setpoint cannot be selected. The setpoint must be provided by the external controller.
3) Register information for the ModBus RTU protocol is shown in section 8.

Pressure switch
Float switch
Generic

26

Set the type of control device, as digital input, of the parameter to control. The device may be a pressure switch, a
float switch or a generic electro-mechanical device that is not present in the proposed list.
Pressure switches: electrical contact type NC. Float switch: electrical contact type NC. Generic: electrical contact
type NC.
N.B.:
1) If the pump assembly is commanded by one or more pressure sensors (par. 013) and a starting pressure
switch has been installed on each pump, available only on request, if the sensors develop a fault the set
automatically operates at a fixed speed commanded by the pressure switches. This is an emergency
condition for assuring water demand in series GVE, GVF, GVM and GVS. The pumps with inverter feature
a soft-start/stop function. Vice-versa, in the GS series fixed speed sets if control from pressure switches
only is required, set par. 013 none.
2) Digital devices, such as pressure switch, float or generic, are only managed through the optional 10-digital
input module (code 150890830). Contact the service centre for clarifications.

THRESHOLDS
The start and stop values of each pump in the set can be set in this menu section.
N.B.: after setting the set point, the SD60 controller automatically calculates, depending on the number of pumps
in the set, the start (START) and stop (STOP) values, also known as operating thresholds, for each pump. The
value can be edited and must be set considering the hydraulic performances of the pump (curve Q-H) and of the
type of system.

SINGLE THRESHOLD
In some applications it may be necessary to have a single start (START) and stop (STOP) threshold for all the
pumps in the set.
The single start threshold is calculated by subtracting the LOWER DELTA parameter value from the SET POINT
value.
START THRESHOLD = SET POINT LOWER DELTA
The single stop threshold is calculated by increasing the SET POINT value by the UPPER DELTA parameter
value.
STOP THRESHOLD = SET POINT UPPER DELTA

- No: SINGLE THRESHOLD function disabled. In this condition, the thresholds set in section 10107 will be
enabled.
10109
DIMIN. % FREQUENCY
1..(fmax-fmin)%
100%
100: disabled.
This parameter represents the reduction in frequency, expressed as a percentage of the fmax-fmin difference, of
the inverter before starting the subsequent pumps at fixed of variable speed.
The parameter can only be enabled if the function PID SD60 is enabled (par. 11701).
Example:
fmax: 50Hz
fmin: 20Hz
parameter 10109: 95%
In this condition, after reaching maximum frequency, the fixed or variable speed pump only starts when the
frequency of the inverter decreases by (50-20)*(95/100)=28.5Hz. The fixed or variable speed pump starts when
the frequency of the inverter amounts to (fmin+28.5)=20+28.5=48.5Hz.
This parameter is used to:
- protect the system from water-hammering generated by repeated starts of fixed-speed pumps;
- prevent undulation of the quantity being controlled, such as pressure, following repeated starts of fixed-speed
pumps.
102
PUMP ROTATION
10201
PUMP ROTATION
Yes..No
Yes

33

Enable pump rotation. This function, if enabled (Yes) ensures that the pumps work for the same number of
hours.
Set Yes to activate pump rotation. Automatic pump rotation takes place each time the set is restarted after
stopping in automatic mode.
The jockey pump, if present, is not subject to rotation, so it always starts first.
In the ECO (GVE) version, the first pump to start is always P1. The other at fixed speed pumps, P2..Pn, can be
rotated.
In the FULL (GVF) version, all the pumps are rotated, including the first to be inverter-started. This can be P1..Pn.
In the MIX (GVM) version, only inverter-powered active pumps are rotated (only if parameter 082 is set to Serial
Cascade) and only fixed-speed pumps.
In the SERIAL (GVS) and FIX (GS) versions, all the pumps are rotated.
10202
PUMP ONE START
1..n
1
This parameter can only be set in the FULL and SERIAL version.
If Pump Rotation is set to No, set the inverter-powered service pump, which starts first when the set is powered
or after a shutdown.
Settings: 1=P1, 2=P2, etc.
In systems with a jockey pump, as the above is called P1, the first service pump that can be set can only be
P2..Pn.
10203
SWITCH INTERVAL
012 h
12 h
In some applications, demand remains constant for long periods and does not require all the pumps in the set to
be operative. In these cases, automatic pump rotation does not take place as the set has never stopped. In this
case, after the set time, a forced rotation of the service pumps takes place (except for the jockey pump).
In the FULL, ECO and FIX versions, only fixed speed pumps are rotated.
In the SERIAL version, only variable speed pumps are rotated.
In the MIX version, rotation takes place between the variable speed pumps and between the fixed-speed pumps.
Set 0h to disable this function.
10204
INVERTER SWITCH T.
012 h
4h
In some applications, minor water demands may not allow the last inverter-powered pump to turn off and thus
prevent automatic switching. In this case, after the set time has elapsed, all the pumps are turned off in order to
force switching of the service pump connected to the inverter. During this brief period (1-5 secs) the last pump
stops and pressure may decrease. This option is only available for FULL (GVF) and MIX (GVM) versions
Set 0h to disable this function.
10205
SYNCHRONOUS MOD.
The synchronous control mode maintains the set pressure for all the system pumps operating at the same
frequency. The second pump starts when the first pump reaches DIMIN. % FREQUENCY [10109] and system
pressure falls below START P2 THRESHOLD. The two pumps operate simultaneously and in synchronism. The
second pump stops when the frequency falls below the SYNCHRONOUS LIMIT [102051]+ the SYNCHRONOUS
WINDOW [102052] frequency.
Identifying the correct setting
- Start the first variable-speed pump in the manual mode and increase the frequency until the required value has
been reached. Check the frequency (f0 ) at zero consumption (Q=0 l/min).
- Set the SYNCHRONOUS LIMIT [102051] to f0 + 2..4Hz
- Set the SYNCHRONOUS WINDOW [102052] to 1 or 3 Hz (depending on the set pump curve and work point).
102051
SYNCHRONOUS LIMIT
0.0 Max frequency Hz
46 Hz
This parameter is used to disable the first standby pump in the synchronous mode. Therefore, if the frequency of
the two pumps falls below this selected value, the pump stops as well as the first pump.
102052
SYNCHRONOUS
0.0 10Hz
2.0Hz
WINDOW
Frequency limit for disabling the pump subsequent to the first.
For example:
3rd pump rotation:
all three pumps are working at a frequency < SYNCHRONOUS LIMIT + SYNCHRONOUS WINDOW x2;
or: 4th pump rotation:
all four pumps are working at a frequency < SYNCHRONOUS LIMIT + 2 x SYNCHRONOUS WINDOW x 3;
General formula pumps off over the first:
Flimit <LIMIT WINDOW SYNCHRONOUS SYNC + x (N inverter are running -1).
103
DELAYS

34

In this section of the submenu, delays can be set between starting and stopping a pump and starting and
stopping the subsequent pumps in the set. A correct setting prevents oscillations that could take place when the
pumps start and stop continuously.
The delays must be set according to the type of system and the maximum permitted number of motor starts.
10301

Yes
- Yes: the fixed-speed pumps start if the last inverter-powered pump exceeds maximum speed, set to parameter
11605, and if the controlled quantity (pressure, flow, etc.) reaches the START threshold (1010710116).
Maximum speed is expressed as a percentage of the maximum value that can be reached and set from
parameter 11605.
- No: the fixed-speed pumps only start if the controlled quantity (pressure, slow, etc.) reaches the START
threshold (1010710116).
N.B.: in the MIX and SERIAL versions, parameter 10302 can only be set to Yes if parameter 082 is Serial

Yes: the previously set delay is halved if the SD60 controller registers a rapid increase/decrease (du/dt) in the
pressure signal or that of another previously set quantity.
10306

INVERTER STOP DELAY

0..250 secs

20 secs

35

Set the delay for the start of the stop procedure of the last inverter-powered pump. The following conditions must
occur:
- Just one variable-speed pump is operating
- The quantity has reached the START/STOP threshold of each pump.
- Minimum speed has been reached, parameter 11604.
The stop procedure is divided into two types.
LOW stop procedure
The set point is decreased by the LOWER DELTA value (parameter 101081) for the INVERTER STOP
DURATION which can be set with 10307. The controller checks if the quantity (such as pressure) decreases: if
there is no demand for water the pressure remains at the set point value or within the range indicated in figure 6
and valid for stopping. In this condition, the last pump is also switched off and the inverter stops. The system
remains loaded at the set point pressure.
HIGH stop procedure
The set point is increased by the UPPER DELTA value (parameter 101082) for the INVERTER STOP

AUTOTEST

36

In systems subject to long periods of inactivity, a periodic automatic test (autotest) should be run in order to check
the performance of the set.
In any case, the autotest cannot replace programmed maintenance which must be carried out periodically. A
weekly interval is recommended.
To start the test request, the boards internal clock or an external command may be used. When the autotest is
enabled, the alarm relay (RELAY 8) is automatically configured to control the electrovalve.
Parameter 10911 INPUT DI14 in the DIGITAL INPUT CONFIG. MENU must be set as Low Pressure Switch.
Autotest execution phases
The test comprises the following sequences:
a) Command received from:
An external command, connected to digital input DI13
or
Internal clock.
b) Opening the electrovalve on the set via a command from the ELECTROVALVE relay and start of first pump.
If the demand arrives while at least one pump is operating and the system is in the automatic mode, the autotest
will be put on standby and they following message appears on the display at regular intervals.
*AUTOMATIC*
AUTOTEST
ON
STANDBY

If, instead, there is no demand for water and all the pumps are in STOP because there is no demand, the autotest
starts and the following message appears on the display:
AUTOTEST
RUNNING
PUMP 1 OPERATING
Pf=x,xx bar
The pump runs for two minutes.
c) The electrovalve closes and one minute delay before the subsequent pump starts. The following message
appears on the display:
AUTOTEST IN PAUSE
Pf=x,xx bar
d) Test performed on subsequent pumps.
When the autotest has failed
If during the autotest (whatever pump is operating) the minimum pressure switch (B.F.C.) installed on the set
trips, the autotest is definitively interrupted and the set resumes work in the automatic mode.
The following message appears on the display:
*AUTOMATIC*
AUTOTEST FAILED
PUMP #n#

B.F.C. intervention is delayed by the time set on parameter 10708 B.F.C. AL. DELAY.
How to interrupt the autotest
To interrupt the autotest at any time press C.
If during autotest the pressure goes below the set value, the procedure is interrupted and the system operates
automatically. No fault is signalled.

105
OFFSET LEAKS
Sometimes in systems there is a fall in pressure caused by load losses in the pipes and these increase when the
water flow increases.
To compensate these load losses it is possible to enable a control that supplies a pressure proportional to the
load. A direct measurement of the flow is not taken, but it is considered to be proportional to the number of pumps
running.
When each service pump is switched on, apart from the first, the set point and the operating thresholds of each
pump are increased by the quantity set in parameter 10502.
N.B.: The jockey pump is not considered.
Example
For the sake of simplicity, the THRESHOLD [10108] function is enabled. That is, the thresholds are equal for all
the pumps.
Set point = 5 bar, LOWER DELTA [101081]=0.5 bar, UPPER DELTA [101082]= 0.5 bar, INCREASE
THRESHOLDS = [10502]= 0.5 bar.
Set point variation:
Ps=4.0bar P1 RUN, P2 STOP, P3 STOP
Ps=4.5bar P1 RUN, P2 RUN, P3 STOP
Ps=5.0bar P1 RUN, P2 RUN, P3 RUN
The first pump starts when the pressure falls below 4.5 bar, and then according to the set thresholds.
After the first pump starts, the START/STOP thresholds of the pumps subsequent to the first are changed:
START P1: 4.5 bar
STOP P1: 5.5 bar
START P2: 4.5+0.5= 5.0 bar
STOP P2: 5.5+0.5= 6.0 bar
START P3: 4.5+0.5+0.5= 5.5 bar
STOP P3: 5.5+0.5+0.5= 6.5 bar
START P2 = 4.5 + 0.2 = 4.7bar
STOP P2= 5.5 + 0.2 = 5.7bar

ETHERNET
Configuration menu of the ETHERNET communication port. Ethernet is a standard protocol for the rapid
connection of computers in a local network (LAN, Local Area Network). An information network is a group of
interconnected PC's and other devices and the system allows these devices to communicate and share
information and resources. Networks can be of different sizes and can be contained in a limited area (LAN) or
spread across the world. Network devices communicate by reciprocally transmitting information in the form of
groups of small electrical impulses, known as packages. Each package contains the address of the
transmitting device (source address) and the address of the receiving device (destination address).
The Web server of the SD60 unit allows one or more computers to be connected to the SD60 control unit via
an Ethernet link. It is therefore possible to use a PC to view and control the operating status of the pump set in
a local Intranet network and also on the Internet, if accesses are enabled.

Sets the lower speed/frequency threshold, expressed as a percentage of the full scale value of the
speed/frequency signal of the last pump operating at variable speed.
E.g.: 4..20mA = 0..50Hz = 0..100%.
As the stop procedure of the last operating inverter depends on the value of the lower speed threshold, an
incorrect setting could cause the pump set to oscillate and not stop correctly. The value also depends on the type
of system.
The parameter can only be set in GV variable speed sets.

Sets the upper speed/frequency threshold, expressed as a percentage of the full scale value of the
speed/frequency signal of the pump operating at variable speed. Once this value is exceeded, the fixed-speed
pumps (GVE, GVF, GVM) or the variable-speed pumps in serial cascade GVS systems are started in sequence.
E.g.: 4..20mA = 0..50Hz = 0..100%.
As a correct starting procedure for fixed- or variable-speed pumps depends on the value of the upper speed
threshold, an incorrect setting could cause the pump set to oscillate and start and stop continuously. The value
also depends on the type of system.
The parameter can only be set in GV variable speed sets.
117
PID SD60 ADJUST.
Control system fundamentals: the PID controller acquires a process value from a sensor (e.g.: pressure) and
compares it with a reference value (e.g.: setpoint). The difference, known as the error signal, is then used to
determine the value of the output variable of the controller (e.g.: inverter output frequency). The PID adjusts the
output according to:
the value of the error signal (proportional action Kp). Proportional action (Kp) reduces the rise time (parameter
defining the speed of response) and reduces the permanent speed error.
previous error signal values (integral action Ti). Integral action makes the controller remember the previous
error signal values; in particular, the integral action value is not necessarily nil if the error signal is nil. This
property gives the PID the capacity of taking the process exactly to the required reference point, where only
proportional action would be nil.
the speed at which the error signal changes (derivative action Td). Derivative action rapidly compensates the
changes in signal error: if it increases, derivative action attempts to compensate this according to the speed at
which it changes, without waiting for the error to become significant (proportional action) or persist for a certain
amount of time (integral action). A derivative controller therefore increases system stability, improving
transitory response.
The SD60 control unit includes a PID governor which assures the desired quantity remains stable and
corresponds to the desired setpoint. This menu section can be used to edit certain parameters of the PID
governor in order to achieve faster or slower reactions in the pump set. Parameter Kp, Ti and Td settings depend
on the installation version.
A rapid reaction can be obtained by increasing the gain Kp, reducing the integral time Ti and increasing the
derivative time Td.
A slow reaction can be obtained by reducing the gain Kp, increasing the integral time Ti and reducing the
derivative time Td.
Default values are set. The installation type may require some values to be changed.

DEAD ZONE
0..10%
0
The dead zone is the percentage within which the PID considers there are no input signal variations. If the dead
zone is set to 5 this means that the input signal to the PID (variable process) must change by over 5% before the
PID reacts and makes adjustments.
11706
N SAMPLES
0..100
0
The input signal to the PID changes continuously. The Number of samples is the number of samples used to
calculate PV variations. If the number of samples is set to 10, it means that the PV input signal to the PID is
calculated over 10 samples. Lastly, a moving average filter is used to absorb violent input variations.
Parameters 11705 and 11706 are used to stabilise adjustment and prevent oscillations that could damage the
pumps.

MAX. FREQUENCY
30.0 70.0 Hz
50Hz
This parameter determines the maximum speed of the pump. The standard setting most comply with the rated
frequency of the connected motor. Higher than standard settings can overload the motor!
Setting greater than 10% of rated frequency can consume 33% more current!
118E8
MIN. FREQUENCY
0 MAX FREQUENCY
30Hz
Below the set minimum frequency the HYDROVAR operates with the fast ramps. By default, the max. setting of
this parameter is limited to 30Hz. To enable the MIN FREQ. for settings > 30Hz consult the detailed HYDROVAR
manual. The minimum frequency depends on the type of pump selected and on the application. Especially in
applications with submersible motors, the minimum frequency must be set to ~30Hz.
118E9
BOOST
0.0 25% Un
8
Sets the motor start voltage as a percentage of the input voltage Un.
This parameter determines the characteristics of the voltage/frequency curve. In particular, we refer to the
increase in voltage during the motor start stage, as a percentage of rated voltage. Make sure to keep these
settings as low as possible in order not to overload the motor at low frequencies.
If the boost is set too low, a fault may occur (OVERLOAD), as the starting current is too high.

7.3 ALARMS LOG

The alarms menu is read only In the MANUAL or AUTOMATIC operating mode, the dedicated menu 2- ALARMS
can be accessed from the main menu. Highlight the relative item in the main menu and confirm with OK. The
parameters and relative descriptions are shown below.
2 ALARMS MENU
The read-only ALARMS MENU gives an overview of active alarms and logs the alarms that tripped while the set was
operating.
Definitions
System: the entire pump assembly.
Unit: individual electric pump and/or inverter.
A fault in the system, in one of the supervised components (unit) or measurements, can generate an alarm or signal.
As well as the fault signal via the fault/signal relay and the red LED on the SD60 unit, an alarm can also modify the
operating mode, for example, from Normal to Stop. A signal only generates a fault indication. The alarms list indicates
the possible fault reasons together with: alarm code, trip date/time, deactivation date/time, number of trips.
Up to 5 events within a 30 minute window are allowed for the same alarm, after which the system or unit shuts down
even if the alarm condition no longer exists. On the contrary, when the alarm condition terminates the system
automatically (if enabled) starts working again.
In the event of a permanent shut-down, proceed as follows to reset:
- Eliminate the alarm condition, if present; the flashing fault LED shines.
- Press C to turn off the LED. The button is only enabled if the alarm is NOT active. The number of times the same
alarm trips is only set to zero if the maximum number of trips has been reached.
The alarms menu is divided into:
21- ACTIVE ALARMS: list of active alarms. Red fault LED flashing and SD60 automatically shows the list of active
alarms. Press T to access the menus. C is disabled. If the alarm is disabled the LED shines red and C is enabled to
disable the alarm relay and turn off the LED.
22- ALARMS LOG: list of last 50 inactive alarms. The first alarm on the list is the most recent one.

The 22-ALARMS LOG is ONLY reset in the manual mode in menu 107 ALARMS.
The following information is available for each alarm:
- Reference code.
- Alarm Name
- Alarm trip and deactivation: Date and time.
- Alarm status: ON active, OFF inactive.
- Number of times the alarm tripped within the 30 minute window.

MANUAL
Pressure continuously falls bellow the calibrated trip value of the minimum pressure switch (also called diaphragm
pressure switch) connected to digital input DI14 [PARAMETER 10911] for a time greater than or equal to the set value
[PARAMETER 10912]. If the alarm does not trip during the periodic auto-test, SD60 activates the red fault LED, the
alarm relay and the system continues to operate. If the alarm persists (always active) continuously within the window
the system shuts down.
Two different situations are contemplated. Tripping of B.F.C. without any request to run the pumps: in this case there
could be a malfunction of the sensor, of the pressure switches, or of the adjustment values.
Tripping of B.F.C. with the pumps running following a request for operation; in this case one or more pumps might not
be efficient (incorrect direction of rotation, damaged hydraulics, closed valve).
It is disabled in the manual operating mode.
008
LOW WATER ALARM

8 MODBUS FIELD BUS

To check SD60 remotely via Modbus RTU, you must enable the pumps on the register 40009.
Enabling occurs only via Modbus and only when the SD60 is in manual mode and parameter Remote Control (09) to
ON. At this point you can write on the registers ModBus RTU
Register 40010:
0 = MANUAL
1 = AUTO
Write 40010 to 0 or put the card in the manual. The register 40009 is related to the ratings of the pumps. If I write
63, I enable all pumps (six). At this point when I switch on the 40010 1 (I put the card automatically) I have pumps
that can be used by SD60 logic.
Warning: when the register is zero 40009 is like I have disabled all the pumps automatically.
