If invited to join the Lee Abbey Community, it will be necessary for applicants to apply for a Voluntary
Charity Workers Visa. There are strict requirements for this visa and applicants maybe refused entry by the
British Embassy. With your application it would be helpful if you include evidence of the following:

Your ability to pay for your visa application and travel to the UK.

A letter from a sponsor, if someone else is meeting the cost of a visa application and travel
expenses.

If possible, any documentary evidence of your future plans, when you return to your home
country, e.g. a letter from a university or college or from an employer guaranteeing that you
will have a job when you return.
