Thank You Church!

Nancy & I deeply appreciate your gift to us during this
Christmas season. You are our brothers and sisters in Christ
and we wish for you the joy and blessedness of this
celebration of our Lords birthday.
Offering Envelopes
The 2017 offering envelopes are available in the Education
Building. If you do not see your box, please let us know. It is
easy to overlook names when looking through hundreds of
names and being interrupted numerous times.
Wrap Bainbridge 2016
Despite uncooperative weather and a date change, Wrap
Bainbridge 2016 was a great success. We helped several
families prepare for Christmas. Special thanks to Tere Dykes
for leading it this year along with Richard Dykes, LeAnn
Buchanan, April Aldridge, Madison Jones and Jeff Jones for
helping wrap gifts!

Tables of Love
The Tables of Love will be Feb. 16, 2017 in the Kirbo Center.
We need people to volunteer to be table hostesses. You can pick
your packet up in the office or call Delrose Betts at 246-6984.
You can leave a message. Please buy your ticket as soon as
possible so that we can plan adequately.
Lottie Moon Offering
December is the time we emphasize International Missions and
collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Our church goal is
$12,000.
Please pray especially for the Southern Baptist Missionaries
serving around the world.
The Saints Alive Choir sang Christmas carols and played
bells at the Memorial Manor and at Riverside Monday. The
residents enjoyed the music and the visits from family members
and friends in our choir. We plan on going every quarter to the
manor and nursing facilities to sing and play for our friends who
need friendly faces and words of encouragement. Our members
truly are saints. They share their love for the Lord, spread joy,
and offer friendship everywhere they go.
Please join us! We will be happy to have new members in our
Saints Alive Choir. Our next practice will be Monday, January
9th, at 10:30 a.m. in the choir room in the Shell Annex. We will
have new music for the new year to sing for worship and around
our fair city.

Children's Christmas Breakfast

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Jesus on Sunday,
December 18! I have never seen so much yummy breakfast
food! Thank you to the Preschool and Children's Committee for
hosting and to all the parents and Sunday School teachers for
bringing such wonderful goodies.

AWANA Sunday, January 8 @ 5:30 pm

We will start back with Jammies for Jesus Night on January 8th!
Wear your pajamas and let's have some fun!

CPR Class

Saturday, January 28

We will hold a class to learn CPR basics on Saturday, January 28.

Cost for church members will be $25 and $35 for non members.
We must have a total of 8 in attendance for the class to make. If
you would like to participate, please call the church office to sign
up.

I hope and pray that everyone of you who

reads these words have a very Merry
Christmas. One of the greatest gifts from God
is His church. He takes people from all walks
of life and places them into a body that works,
loves, and grows together. My family and I
are so very grateful for this body that we have
the privilege to serve and we do count it a joy
and a privilege to be here! Thank you so much
for the kind gifts that you have shared with us
and we look forward, with anticipation, to
what God has in store for First Baptist Church
right here in Bainbridge in 2017. Will you join
in praying with me that this will be the best
year ever in the history of this church? May
