This lamp is turned ON in the following cases: - When Manual Return to Zero Position (Return to Zero Position u: ZERO RETURN mode) is completed - When Automatic Return to Zero Position (G28) is completed In case Retum to Zero Position was not normally completed, Lamp will be blinking. b) "POWER ON, Lamp This is turned ON if the Main Power Switch on the electric cabinet door is ON. ¢) ‘AUTO READY, Lamp READY This is turned on only in Auto Mode after the completion of Return to Zero = Position of each axis is completed without any problem in NC Equipment or Servo. 4a. Function Explanation 4a-18 I HUACHEOn d) "CHUCK, Lamp This indicates whether MAIN CHUCK (CHUCK1) or SUB CHUCK (CHUCK2) is locked or not. Hf each CHUCK is normally locked, Lamp will be turned ON. This Lamp will be turned ON at the time of the occurrence of the Alarm. 1) When POWER in ON, this Lamp is immediately turned ON, 2) This is occurred due to the reasons such as EMERGENCY Alarm, DISPLAY Alarm or TURRET Alarm. b) T.H ALARM When there is abnormal current at the Power Source Part of 3 Phase Motor such as COOLANT and CHIP CONVEYOR, T.H (Thermal Relay) will be opened. Alarm is occurred at this time. ¢) OIL ALARM This Lamp will be turned ON when Oil pressure and Oil level of Cycle Pump is below certain level. 4a. MDI = Manual Data Input Set MODE switch to MDI for the following. - MDI operation - Input data alteration by tape - Parameter setting and other settings ( PC timer, etc. ) - Set MODE switch to TAPE for tape operation. - Sequence number search by tape. When handle mode is selected, X or Z axis moves by turning the M.P.G handle. Turing the handle clockwise (CW) to axis moves "+" direction, and turning counterclockwise (CCW) to axis moves "." direction. Moving scale is selected by the mode switch in 0.1, 0.01, 0.001 mm 4a. Function Explanation 4a-20 I HUACH=Oon -JOG - Set MODE switch to JOG for continuous feed with the jog - Manual operations except for handle and rapid feeds - JOG feed is varied by override. - REF (ZERO RETURN) Set MODE switch to REF (ZERO RETURN) when performing zero retum operation. w ALARM "SINGLE BLOCK" Button This Button is to execute the Program by 1 Block at a time during automatic operation 1. If this Button is ON during automatic operation, Program is stopped after completing the Block which was being executed, 2. When pressing Cycle Start Button, next Block is executed 3. If Single Block Button is OFF and Cycle Start Button is pressed, Operation will return to original continuous operation mode. 4. MDI operation and manual operation may be performed by converting Mode while Single Block is stopped. Single Block for fixed Cycle is done where Cycle ends. Single Block Lamp will be tumed ON. 4a, Function Explanation 4a-21 I HUIRCH=On PT. This override Button is valid for manual rapid Feed and automatic rapid Feed. 4a.5.7 FEEDRATE OVERRIDE 4a. Function Explanation 4a-23 — = I I HURCHE=On The speed of axis Feed will be selected within the range of 16 Steps. (When JOG, HANDLE Mode is selected) CW — CWis spindle rotating clockwise. STOP --- This button stops the spindle. CCW --- CCW is spindle rotating counter clockwise. 4a.5.10 SPINDLE OVERRIDE This switch controls the spindle speed of programming, O Control range is from 50 % to 120%. This switch is effective only in the automatic operation mode (AUTO, TAPE, MDI) 4a.5.11 CYCLE START 4a. Function Explanation 4a-24 I HURACH=OnN CYCLE START _ This is a Button to start the following automatic operation: val - AUTO mode t 8 1 = MDI mode —_ = REMOTE mode Cycle Start Lamp will be operated during automatic operation. 4a.5.12 FEED HOLD FEED HOLD __ This is a Button to hold automatic operation temporarily. If this Button is pressed during automatic operation, Feeds of respective axis are ° decelerated and then stop. Provided, however, auxiliary functions which are executed will keep on Oo operating, At this time Feed Hold Lamp is turned ON and Cycle Start Lamp is turned OFF. During Feed Hold, Mode Select Button can be switched to manual operation. For Re-starting, mode selection should be returned back to automatic operation and Cycle Start Button should be pressed, 4a.5.13 EMERGENCY STOP (ESP) 4a. Function Explanation 4a-25 HUACHEOon = I When Emergency Stop is required during operation, press this Push Button Switch, a) Control power of the machine is cut and NC Equipment stops immediately. b) Due to this stop, Spindle motors, Coolant motor and Axis Feed motors will all stop. c) “READY” (Signal for the completion of preparation) of NC Equipment is tured OFF, and [EMERGENCY STOP] is indicated. How to Release the Emergency Stop: 1) This Push Button Switch is LOCK type. Therefore, turn to right direction to release and return to Zero position. 2) Reset NC Equipment. If Reset is not done, [EMERGENCY STOP] indication is not deleted and thus re-input of power is not possible. 3) Input power again. 4) Return to Zero position for all axis. If return to Zero position is not done, the position of the machine may not be accurate, 4a.5.14 MEMORY PROTECT KEY NEMORY KEY 1 Do O Protection Key should be selected to edit Program. When OFF was selected, Program input, deletion and replacement are possible. However, it is not possible when ON is selected. Be sure to select "LOCK" to prevent accidental program alterations. 4a.5.15 CHUCK SELECT KEY 4a. Function Explanation 4a-26 I = I HUACHEON 4a.5.16 COOLANT = CHUCK SELEC SUB CHUCK SELECT a - If Button is at Close side, machining of work by chucking the outer diameter of the works, and in this case Chuck Jaw should be closed so that Chuck Lamp will be turned ON and spindle can rotate. ~ If Button is at Open side, machining of works by chucking the inner diameter of the works, and in this case Chuck Jaw should be opened so that Chuck Lamp will be turned ON and spindle can rotate. In manual mode (JOG, HANDLE, ZERO POINT) if the switch is turned on, Coolant will flow. In MDI, AUTO mode, command of M08 with the switch turned on, coolant will flow. But coolant stops. when M09 is commanded regardless of this switch By M10, M11, M12 command, the coolant will flow or stop simultaneous with spindle, in this case the coolant will not flow with this switch off. Be sure to turn off the coolant switch when changing to manual mode from AUTO mode with the front door closed, 4a.5.17 AUTO DOOR (Option) OPEN ... When Auto Door is used, if the push button switch is in the open position, the door open, CLOSE ... When Auto Door is used, if the push button switch is in the closed position, the door close. 4a.5.18 CHIP CONVEYOR Button 4a. This switch is interlocked to operate only when X and Z axis are returned to the reference point. ADVANCE --- The Sensor Arm advances to the measuring position RETREAT -~ The Sensor Arm returns to the storage position. In case PART CATCHER is attached, if Button is pressed irrespective of mode selection, PART CATCHER may move Forward or Backward 4a.5.21 PARTS CATCHER Button - ADVANCE: PART CATCHER moves forward (PART LOAD) - RETREAT: PART CATCHER moves backward (PART UNLOAD) PART CATCHER can be operated only when the following conditions are met: 1) FRONT DOOR should be closed. 2) In case there is TAIL STOCK, it should be Retracted position. 3) In case there is TOOL PRESETTER, it should be in Retracted position. 4) If machine has a SUB SPINDLE it must be returned to its ZERO RETURN position before advancing the parts catcher. 4a. Function Explanation 4a-28 I HURCHEOn 4a.5.22 TAILSTOCK FOOT Switch If the foot switch is actuated for more than 2 sec, the quill is forced to push the work-piece continuously with hydraulic pressure. When tailstock is required for machining a shaft, align the center of the Tailstock with the center of the work piece, after alignment is completed, step on the foot switch for more than 2 sec and be sure to verify that this lamp is lit. 4a.5.23 CHUCK FOOT Switch Open/Close for COLLET CHUCK and POWER CHUCK can be executed by pressing down Switch with foot.
