Coming Soon: Drinking the Spirit

On January 10th, Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. we are starting a new Adult Group, "Drinking the Spirit". The
first meeting will be in the Lodge Room of the GN. Each week we will have a different Catholic topic
with a presenter. Questions and discussions are encouraged. Our first presenter is Fr. Garrett Nelson from
the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings. We are each responsible for our own "beverages" and or food. This
should be a relaxing and enjoyable way of learning about the Catholic faith. This group is very similar to
the international groups "Theology on Tap", Miles City has "Suds and Salvation" and our new group is
"Drinking the Spirit" Please plan on joining us, spread the word and bring a friend.

Stewardship Thoughts from Judy Held

President, Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana
"And the Word became flesh" John 1:14
Jesus is God's ultimate gift of love to us. The countless other blessings that God showers upon us are
nothing compared to the gift of His only Son. The only appropriate way for us to respond to such
generous love is with our own generous love. When we dedicate our lives to sharing all the gifts God has
placed in our hands, the peace of Christ truly will control our hearts and we will know Christmas joy
every day.

A very simple, yet generous, way to share your gift of treasure with our parish or diocese (without writing
a check at all) is to name our church the owner and/or beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy you
have which your beneficiaries no longer need. In addition, a gift of a paid-up policy would likely qualify
you for the 40% Montana Endowment Tax Credit. To learn more, please contact Judy at the Catholic
Foundation of Eastern Montana at (406) 727-6683, ext. 120 or judy@catholicfoundationmt.org.
