Miss Spelling in ELT Classroom

Introduction
One of the problems encountered during these practices is what a teacher must do
with those students who, for several reasons, fail to achieve the expected results in the
communicative environment and, therefore, require more attention from the teacher in the
classroom, as well as parallel work outside the classroom to continue moving forward in their
learning without losing motivation and still keeping up with their classmates. Miss spelling is
one of problem faced by teacher in Classroom. At this case, it will find out by the cyclical
from Barbosa.

Observation : The teacher does the observation by involving all situation in classroom not in
specific time but it is at tentative such as interaction. The teacher records the information to
make a future step / reference to diagnosis. The teacher found the miss spelling is harmful for
their understanding.
Diagnosis : A good diagnosis can only be given through thorough analysis, devoid of any
sort of prejudice by the teacher, on data collected during the observation phase. The teacher
proceed the data from observation. Then, the teacher believes that using Ms.Word in
Computer is an effective way.
Treatment : When detecting what linguistic problems the student is facing, the teacher
should first consider how much knowledge about the topic to be worked on the student. It is
also important that the teacher, when thinking about the work to be developed by the student
with the difficulty, be quite precise in addressing it, looking for the most urgent aspect to be

treated. Based on the theory, the teacher consider to implement one way focus to solve the
problem. Using Ms. Word is an effective way to treat them. Then, the teacher is also giving
some feedback by giving the attention for their process.
