Item Description

LAYING,ERECTION, INSTALLATION OF SUPPLY

ITEMS AS APPLICABLE OF:
Survey of cable route, Preparation of route drawing position & finalising the
cable route in consultation with the employer.

Design & construction of cable trench and backfilling including all related work
such as blasting of rocks and backfilling of trenches, fixing of gradient of trench,
excavation of trial pits wherever required, shoring, dewatering, excavation and
backfilling of any temporary manhole, support of existing fecilities/ plant,
ramming of loose earth, backfilling with carried earth wherever necessary,
disposal of surplus earth/ debris, breaking & making good of footpath,
pavement road, existing installation including street lights, cables etc, clearing
of obstacles,providing all types of markers,warning bricks & tapes as per
specification, suitable structures/ techniques materials for crossings of road, rail,
culvcrt, river, canal etc, for installatian of HDPE pipes if required other
installation materials including construction of cable duct with supply of sand
cement bricks and other construction material complete as per technical
specification and approved drawing including reinstation of exiting cables &
other utility installation wherever required.

Excavation & construction of joiniting bay (7M X 3M)as per approved drawing
with retaining walls on all sides of brick/ stone masionary duly plastered. Making
cover of jointing bay with sand, RCC preccast protection cover/tiles/bricks
including supply of all necessary materials and back filling.

Laying of 220 KV 1 core 1200 sqmm copper XLPE cable.

Erection of polymer housed 198 KV 10 KA, heavy duty gapless outdoor type
LA as per technical specification for composite tower.

Installation of straight though Cable jointing kits including all neccessary

accessories for making joint for 220 KV XLPE Cable

Installation of outdoor terminations & mouting of cable on structureas as per

technical specification at substation end

Installation of outdoor terminations, mouting of cable on structure as per

technical specification at composite tower structure end.

9.00

Erection of HDPE pipes with easy access to 1 phase 220KV 1200 sq.mm cable
run and erection including all neccessary accessories, structures etc.

Erection of steel structures for 220 KV cable termiantions at New Town AA IIC
WBSETCL substation end as per requirement.

Erection of earth link box, SVL, earth strip, Bonding cable, erath rod etc.
wherever required and as per technical specification for bonding earthing of
XLPEcable complete at both end.

12.00

Design and construction of foundation of all steel structures for installation and
connection of XLPE cable at proposed New Town AA-IIC 220KV SS and entire
cable route as per approved electrical layout, specification and as per
requirement.

13.00

Laying, jointing, splicing, termination etc. of 24F armoured underground fibre

optic cable along with 6 nos of 220 KV 1200 sq.mm XLPE power cable utilizing
same cable trench & route including fitting of jointing boxes and all necessary
materials with accessories as per requirement of Technical specification & and
its Amendment & scheme philisophy. The cable will be terminated at Fibre Optic
Disctribution Panel (FODP) located at Control room / PLCC room or any
suitable location nearer to the Fibre Optic Equipment at proposed 220KV
Newtown AA IIC sub-station & PGCIL 400KV Rajarhat substation as per
requirement.

Installation of 48F Fiber Optic Distribution Panel at proposed Newtown AA IIC

sub-station as per requirement at Control room / PLCC room or any suitable
location nearer to the Fibre Optic equipment Panel as per Specification & its
amendment, Scheme, philosophy & site requirement.

15.00

Installation of 24F Fiber Optic Distribution Panel at PGCIL 400KV Rajarhat

substation as per requirement at Control room / PLCC room or any suitable
location nearer to the Fibre Optic equipment Panel as per Specification & its
amendment, Scheme, philosophy & site requirement.

16.00

Any other works not specifically covered above required for installation of XLPE
and Fibre optic cable.
