With the addition of ATI Ladish, ATI Powder Metals, and new capabilities from
within ATI, our companys leadership in titanium, superalloys and other Mission
Critical Metallics takes a giant step forward, now including highly engineered
forgings, castings and powder metal products along with sophisticated
machining and finishing capabilities.

Technologically Advanced Forgings

ATI Ladish produces many of the most technologically advanced forgings in the
world for a variety of demanding applications, such as hot-section components
for jet engines and structural components for commercial and defense aircraft,
helicopters, launch vehicles and more. In addition, ATI Portland Forge has recently
been certified to provide closed-die forging, machining, heat-treating and fabrication
for aerospace.

Titanium Investment Castings

ATI Pacific Cast Technologies specializes exclusively in titanium investment

castings for aerospace applications. This operation casts large, complex
components in large and small sizes, symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes,
with simple and highly complex geometries.

Fully Integrated Powder Metal

ATI Powder Metals is a fully integrated development and production operation for
high-performance, near-net-shape powder metal components and materials for
jet engines, airframe parts, rocket engines and other aerospace applications.

Aerospace Fastener Stock

ATI now offers high-quality, aerospace-grade titanium, nickel alloy and specialty
steel fastener stock in a range of convenient shapes, including continuous rolled
titanium wire. ATI is the only company that
can produce fastener stock in these alloys,
from melt to finish.

ATIs new major manufacturing capabilities include the

machining and finishing operations needed to deliver highly
engineered components, tested to aerospace tolerances and
performance specifications.

Isothermal Forging

ATI Ladish is a world leader in the development and application of

Isothermal Forging technologies. In 2010, we began production on
the worlds largest Isothermal Press, rated at 12,500 tons.

SupercoolerTM Technology

ATI Ladish Forgings patented Supercooler technology enables

ATI to produce highly sophisticated components that have differing
mechanical properties in different parts of the same piece. This
capability allows design engineers to produce parts that are more
fatigue- and temperature-resistant.

Advanced Powder Metals Technology

ATI Powder Metals is a technology leader in every step of the PM

process, from alloy development through final production of nearnet-shape parts. Our vacuum induction melt (VIM) inert gas atomizer
produces homogeneous pre-alloyed powders with a uniform
microstructure that is not attainable through other means.

Rough and Finish Machining Throughout the

Supply Chain

ATI Ladish has machining capabilities at each location, with

machine shops in the United States and Poland dedicated to
rough and finish machining of all sizes and shapes of forged
and cast parts. ATI Ladish operations also offer special
processes, such as sonic inspections.

Nondestructive and Destructive Testing

Multiple ATI Ladish facilities have the capabilities and

aerospace certifications to perform a variety of nondestructive
and destructive testing. We can also meet a wide range of
subassembly requirements to streamline routings, speed up
sourcing lead times and simplify supply-chain consolidation
efforts.

Boring, Turning and Finishing Services

Complementing ATI Ladishs international aerospace capabilities,

ATIs Sheffield, UK, operations provide boring, turning and
finishing services for jet engine shafts and other aerospace
components.
