5. Conclusion of the Diagnostic Results
1. Corrosiveness of soils, progressively less and mild. does
not bear influence on pipelines.

6. Recommendations
1. Provide the necessary level of cathode protection along
all tested pipelines.

2. The level of cathode protection at pipelines is not


assured.

2. When observing formed working parameters and


providing necessary level of cathode protection, the tested
pipelines are suitable for further operation.

3. Insulating coating :satisfactory. 5 defective areas on


pipeline CS530003

3. It is not recommended to expose pipelines to higher


pressures with the purpose of testing.

4. Risk of Soil movements, structural changes,


subsidences: Not Found

4. Sections, requiring immediate repairs and replacements,


were not found in pipelines.

5. Stressed state of pipelines is normal


6. Maximum corrosion wear for the time of operation
amounted to:

pipeline CS530002 and its branches 3,9 %

pipeline CS530003 and its branches 11,8 %

pipeline CR530029 and its branches 20,5 %

7. According to the results of phonon diagnostics 407


defects were found, out of them14 significant.
8. Remaining life of tested pipelines amounts to 3 - 20
years.

5. It is recommended to perform in 3 5 years repeated


phonon diagnostics for sections of pipelines and
branches, which at the moment of current examination
have remaining life of 3 10 years (15 sections, including
6 sections on delivery and return pipelines and 9 sections
on branches).
