________________ With reference to your Technical Report dated 17/06/2013 and further our comment sent to you on 20/06/2013, please be informed that a total shutdown is planned from 14 / 09 /2013 for a period of 4 days. By considering the one out of four scenarios, No A was seen feasible and acceptable as per your Technical Note Engineering Department is proposing to expedite the commencing of detailed engineering phase with minor modification and downtime requirements etc and would like you to investigate the possibility of implementing the following activities during up-coming planned S/D. 1- To produce the detailed engineering package for scenario A considering the Cold -Work option with tie-ins to be carried-out during said shutdown as detailed hereunder: a.The existing 12 lines with 8 flow control valves will be retained as it is. b. The middle 24 line has to be modified as follows: - Dismantle the existing spectacle blind after depressurizing purging the line as required. - Cut the line (24) at the upstream and downstream of the blind - Insert a removable spool piece with one isolation valve (flanged) on each end of spool. - Length of spool should be sufficient enough to accommodate to install 24 to 16 reducers during the planned shutdown as well as a 16 flow control valve with its bypass in future. Details will be worked-out in later stage. A simple sketch (No. 1) with these details is attached. 2- A Fiscal metering upgrading to be designed with the support of the vendor in such a way that additional fingers to be added. In this regard, the 24 main header of fingers ( to be confirmed for the required new gas 12 MMscfd or more) has to be extended the piping and providing provision for figures with 12 valves or as alternative by an arrangement of isolation valve and blind at the end with same diameter pipe during the planned shutdown as per attached sketches No. 2 & 3. This arrangement will facilitate to operate existing 3 fingers until the materials are arranged and installed for other proposed fingers in future. 3- A special consideration to be given to the existing system including fingers' header, filters and orifice plates in terms of size, capacity and pressure drop etc _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Page 1 of 2
4- To achieve these objectives, details have to be specified in your package
including MTO and method of statement as well as all required procedures for depressurizing & purging, welding and testing etc. 5- Availability of materials at MOG warehouses will be confirmed after finalizing the MTO and during site survey. 6- Risk assessment and HAZOP review have to be carried upon completion of details.
