NOTE:
1. Students not residing in the Institute Accommodation are exempted from the payment of Accommodation
Charges i.e. (Rs.11,000/- for MTech students and Rs.13,000/- for PhD students per semester) at the time of
registration for 2016 Autumn Semester. Whenever, Institute Accommodation is made available to such
students during the semester then Accommodation Charges are to be paid on pro-rata basis.
2. Any PG/PhD student residing in the Family Accommodation has to pay additionally Rs.5,000/- per semester.
3. Any PhD student who has joined before the scheduled date of registration and paid the fee accordingly shall
pay the fees as per fee structure applicable for old PhD students.
4. Applicable acceptance fee for new students of B.Tech, MSc, PhD has been deducted/ adjusted from the total
fees payable.
5. Dinning Charges to be paid on actual use basis as per notification from Mess Warden through smart card or
as directed, to the caterer.
6. Students are supposed to pay semester fee in full at the time registration and no installment payment will be
accepted.
7. For 2016 B. Tech. Batch:
i.
The most economically backward students (whose family income is less then Rs. 1 lakh per annum)
shall get full remission of the tuition fee after admission against production of documentary evidence.
ii.
The other economically backward students (whose family income is between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh
rd
per annum) shall get full remission of 2/3 of the tuition fee after admission against production of
documentary evidence.
iii.
For this purpose either Income Tax return filed (FY 2015-16) by parents or Income Certificate for total
parental income (FY 2015-16) issued by local district authorities like SDO, BDO, MRO, Tahasildar,
Anchal Officer, Chairman/ Executive Officer of Municipal corporation etc.
Modes of Payment:
i)
Online:- through State Bank Collect facility, by logon to https://www.onlinesbi.com:1. Internet Banking (charges: if using SBI, Nil; if other banks, maximum Rs.15)
2. Debit Card/Credit Card[charges (1.8% + Service Tax) of fee paid]
3. Challan (charges Rs.50)
ii) Offline:-through a SINGLE Demand Draft drawn in favor of Registrar IIT Indore payable at Indore.
