PANEL Modification

PANEL Modification (1)


PANELs may be modified using grips. Double
clicking a PANEL displays grips at each vertices and
grips for curved or circular elements.

Left clicking on a vertex grip highlights the grip


and the vertex can be moved either graphically or
by entering values in the prompt.

Pressing and holding the Ctrl key before selecting a
grip enables more than one grip to be selected.
Selecting the two grips at either end of an edge
enables the edge to be moved/stretched.

Clicking the Additional grips button in the
Status bar toggles on other grips that can be used
to modify the PANEL.

Clicking the
grip, which occurs at the mid point
between two vertices, adds a new vertex to the
PLOO.

Each vertices has three grips:

PANEL Modification (6)


The Stretch grip moves/stretches the vertex, as
described previously.
The Radius grip enables a +ve or ve radius to be
added to the vertex or the radius changed if one
already exists.

The Chamfer grip enables a chamfer to be added
to the vertex. The selected vertex is moved and a
new vertex created.

The same grips are displayed and function in the


same way on negatives in PANELs.

PANELs, including PLOO and PAVE elements, may
also be modified using the Properties Grid.
