-What is CALL ( Computer Assisted Language Learning )?
It is a course to learn about how technology affect on learning language methods , the main
purpose for this to allow students to use technological tools .
-CMC : ( Computer- Mediated Communication ) we can learn more information by
technology and websites . Allow learners to communicate with professional speaker in
English .
There are negative points for CMC :
1 ) Reduce productivity.
2 ) Increase isolation .
3 ) No body language and it will be misunderstanding .
In the other hand CMC POSITIVE points are :
1 ) It is saving time .
2 ) Increase self discover .
3 ) Work will be more flexible .
-SCMC : ( Synchronous Computer Mediated Communication ) , it is an online learning
program between students and teachers whom use the same language .
-ACMC : ( Asynchronous Computer Mediated Communication ) , you can learn language
face to face in classroom . Support communication by different tools .
-MALL : ( Mobile Assisted Language Learning ) , MALL is support students to increase
language learning by using a phones and iPad . In MALL students able to communicate
with their teachers anywhere and anytime .
- MOOCs : ( Massive Open Online Courses ) , On MOOC learn will be unlimited on
attendance , teachers and students can communicate by internet without being in school ,
college or university . MOOCS Such as : Coursera, and edX .

CALL is a course for applied English students its is optional course and CALL learn us a lot
of information in technology and how technology affect in language learning . Is marked by
the frequent use of communicate between the students and teachers .
The technology a very important part of learning language . The technology changes our life
actually by saving the time and effort and nowadays we can learn by internet without any
effort . By technology you can learn the language without take a long course about the
language you just can use any application for learn a language and use it such as you can
use Google translate to improve your own language without take a course but in the old
days you might have to use a book to translate every single word . Moreover , nowadays if
you use the abbreviation ( TYT ) the other people will know what the meaning of this words
that because with repeated use of the Internet . Technology support students to find the all
information they want with the full of tools . And now students with the technology ,
applications and tools they can share information with each other which make the learning
process is more flexible and easier . In addition to technology is help teachers to make
students want to learns because in technology and tools there are videos , games and
interesting way in learning .
For CALL there are a lot of advantages such as :
1 ) CALL make students able to use internet to use online learning language .
2 ) CALL able students to make a professional CV .
3 ) CALL make sure you are not use PLAGRISIM in your essay , presentations and projects
. It is improve your own language .
4 ) CALL allow students to know how to make a websites .
In the other hand there is one disadvantage ( YES ONE ) for CALL course it is : CALL need
a lot of time and effort to do the assignments maybe is because is need you to know too
much vocabulary .
CALL a viability a lot of applications thats will help you to learn a language , and if I want to
learn language I will chose a DUOLINGO application it is free you can sign up by create
account or by using your Facebook or Gmail account , you can choice the language which
do you want to learn and there is lesson in this application which include the all basics and
skills of language you would to learn . In addition to , this application provide a listening ,
reading and writing skills . The most important thing about this application it is reminder you
daily to take the lesson by send to you a notification in your computer or mobile .
Moreover , there is another application can help you in learning language which called "
Coursera " . Coursera offering subjects like : physics , engineering , biology , business and
mathematics . Coursera is a free application for the first course and after that it will be with a
costs . It is one of leading providers of MOOCs and it is make a quizzes for students .
Teachers and students can communicate easily it just need to internet access . But there is

a special age can use it not everyone can use courser application .
With CALL you can improve your skills by your own by yourself . After this course you must
be know how you can able to use technological tools to learn language and how to create
your own website by follow the all steps which include ( Essay , presentation and power
point ) . The CALL course help you how to find job by helping you to write a CV which
include the all information about you . In the end of this course we might know how to write a
source by APA style .

My prediction of the future of CALL course it will mention different and others tools and
applications for learning because the learning it will not stop especially in technology we
listen every year about a new application to help students to improve their language and to
make the communicate with theirs teachers more easily . CALL course is need to be an
mandatory course in a university in our major because not all of use know this whole things
about technology or this applications .
