Apply strategies for multiplication and related division
facts to 9 x 9

Explain what the idea of the bingo activity will be. The
first round we will be using the first bingo card. I will
call out a number and you have to find the matching
multiplication equation in the right column (so under
BINGO) and put a bingo chip on it. GIVE AN EXAMPLE.
First person to get a line wins.
Have a student repeat the directions
Time allowed: 5 Minutes
Hand out bingo chips to each student.
Begin Game. I will call out numbers and students find
equation on bingo card.
Winners get a box of smarties. Each student will
eventually get a box to take outside for recess.
Time allowed: 15 20 minutes ( play till 5 minutes
before Recess)
Have students freeze and hands up
Put away Bingo chips and Miss. Benson will come and
collect. Clean up time
Take a poll of the liked the game
Get ready for recess
Time allowed: 5 Minutes
