1/ Quang Nam Da Nang


Quang Nam:
Quang Nam is a province in the coastal province in south central region of Vietnam. Quang
Nams name means expanding to the south. Quang Nam has two world heritage as Hoi An
Old Quarter and the My Son Sanctuary.
Its 10.440 square kilometers with 1.4 million people (in 2014), Quang Nam is ranked 6th in
terms of size and 19th in population among 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam.
Quang Nam has 18 districts, including 02 cities, 01 town and 15 districts with 247 communes
Quang Nam is far away 883 km from Ha Noi Capital to the north and 887 km from Ho Chi
Minh City in the south.
Quang Nam has typical tropical climate with only 2 seasons as dry and rainy seasons, the
annual average temperature of 20 21 Celsius degree, the average rainfall is 2000-2500 mm
and it concentrate from September - December and accounted for 80% of rainfall yearly.
Da Nang:
Danang has a competitiveness index (PCI) headed the country
and are considered "liveable city" of Vietnam
Da Nang (About this sound listen) is the fifth largest city in Vietnamand one of the major
port. Da Nang covers 1285,4 square kilometers with 1.046.0876 people ( in 2015). Its
located on the coast of the Eastern Sea and it is the biggest city in Central Vietnam. It is
located within 100 km of several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Imperial City of
Hu, the Hoi An Old Quarter and the My Son Sanctuary.
Da Nang is is listed as a first class city with competitiveness index (PCI) headed the country
in several years. Da Nang is considered as Most liveable city in Vietnam.
Da Nang has a tropical monsoon climate with two seasons: a typhoon & wet season which
are lasting from September through March and a dry season lasting from April through
August. Temperatures are typically high, with average temperature is 25.9 C yearly.
The famous tourist spot must visit is Hoi An Old Quarter where is recognized by UNESCO
World Heritage. Moreover, Hoi An has a Bridge Pagoda which is situated at downstream of
Thu Bon River, and belongs to Quang Nam Province and far away from Da Nang City about
30 km in the south.
The bridge was built around the 17th century by Japanese businessmans and sometimes also
called the Japanese bridge. According to story, the temple is considered as a sword which

stabbed into the back of the monster Namazu in order to make it can not turn its tail which
made earthquakes. In 1653, they built more parts of temple to connect to the northern
railing and from that time, locals called Bridge Pagoda.Until now, the temple was renovated
4 times as in the 1817, 1865, 1915, 1986

2/ Sai Gon Ho Chi Minh


Ho Chi Minh City, commonly known as Saigon, is a largest city in terms of population and
level of urbanization as well as the economic, education, culture.
This area was originally known as Prey Nokor, the city then established by the exploration of
the South under the Nguyen Dynasty. In 1698, Nguyen Huu Canh to established Gia Dinh
government which marked the first chapter of the city.
In French Colonial, Saigon was dubbed as "Pearl of the Indochina". After the collapse of
Democratic Republic of Vietnam, April 30, 1975. In July 2, 1976, the Socialist Republic of
Vietnam decided to change Saigon into "Ho Chi Minh City", this name is under the name of
the first President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Nowaday, it includes 19 districts and 5 rural districts and total area of city is 2095.06 square
kilometers. In 2014, the citys population was 7.9819 million people. The city occupies 21.3%
of the total product (GDP) and 29.38% of the total revenue of the country.
Ho Chi Minh City is far from Hanoi 1,730 km by road, and 50 km far from the sea. Ho Chi
Minh City is an important traffic in the road, sea and air way. Its connecting the provinces in
Vietnam and also to be a international gateway in Southeast Asia.
There are 02 seasons, those are dry and rainny season. The rainy season starts from May to
November ,while the dry season from December to April in the following year. The average
rainfall reaches 1,949 cities mm per year.
Ben Thanh Market is one of the typical places of Ho Chi Minh City which is the most acient
place in Sai Gon.
Ben Thanh Market had established before the French invaded Gia Dinh. The market was
formally established by the French colonial powers after taking over the Gia Dinh citadel in
1859. This market was destroyed by fire in 1870 and rebuilt to become Saigon's largest
market. In 1912 the market was moved to a new building and called the New Ben Thanh
Market . The building was renovated in 1985.
3/ Thua Thien Hue Hue
Thua Thien Hue is a land with a long history 2,800 years which is a province in the North
Central Coast region of Vietnam, approximately situated in the centre of the country. It
borders Quang Tri Province to the north and Da Nang to the south, Laos to the west and the
East Sea to the east. The province has 128 km of coastline, 22,000 hectare of lagoons and
over 200,000 hectare of forest.
Thua Thien Hue has 01 city that is Hue city, 06 districts and 02 towns with 1.123.800 people
(in 2013). Hue has tropical monsoon climate so theres sunny in the early of the year and
rainy season for the late months of the year.

Hue is a provincial city of Thue Thien Hue. In 1307, this place was called Thuan Hoa and after
that, this area was named Phu Xuan in 1775. Between 1802 and 1945, Hue is the last name
of this place and it was the country's capital.
Hue has other nicknames like: Romantic City, City of Festival and covers 71,68 square
kilometer with the population in 2012 is 344,581 people. Hue comprises 30 administrative
divisions with Ward level.

The city is located in central Vietnam on the banks of the Huong River. Tropical monsoon
climate is a feature of Hue.
The dry season is from March to August, with high temperatures of 35 to 40 C. The rainy
season is from August to January, with a flood season from October onward. The average
rainy season temperature is 20 C.
Hue is a well known city with 05 titles were recognized by UNESCO. Especially, is the
Complex Historic Monuments of Nguyen dynasty, it comprises the place of the Nguyen
emperors which occupied a large walled area on the north side of the Huong River. Inside the
citadel, there was a forbidden city where only the emperors, concubines and who are close
enough to be granted access permit. It also includes the mausoluems of several Nguyen
emperors.

4/ Khanh Hoa Nha Trang


Khanh Hoa is a province of Vietnam located in the South Central Coast. It has a population of
1,192,500 (in 2013) and covers area of 5.217,7 square kilometres. Khanh Hoa has 02
provincial cities, 06 districts and 01 town. Khanh Hoa has more than 200 km of coastline and
nearly 200 islands and many beautiful bays like Van Phong, Nha Trang, Cam Ranh. It has a
mild climate, the average temperature 26C and its capital is Nha Trang.
Nha Trang is very popular with tourists, with Nha Trang Bay widely considered as 01 amont of
29 most beautiful bays in the world. Nha Trang is a coastal city and capital of Khanh Hoa
Province, on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. The city has about 400,000 inhabitants with
252.6 square kilometers. It has a tropical savanna climate with a lengthy dry season from
January to August and a shorter wet season from September to December.
Nha Trang has a famouse market that is Dam Market. It is named like that because the
market is located in a large old lagooon to 7 hectares, linked to the Nha Trangs estuary
which is under Ha Ra Bridge. This place covers 7 hectares wide, both sides are the houses of
the inhabitants. To the north, it borders the old station wagon and Nguyen Hong Son street,
on the west is Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, on the east borders Xuan Huong, Hang Ca and Phan
Boi Chau street, on south is Phan Boi Chau street..
Come to this market, tourists can buy a lot of household products, essential items, souvenir
items and dried seafoodetc.

5/ Ba Ria Vung Tau Vung Tau

Ba Ria Vung Tau is a province of Vietnam which is located on the coast of the country's
Southeast region. It covers 1.989,5 square kilometers and 1.059.800 inhabitants. Its
subdivided into 06 districts and 02 provincial cities and Ba Ria is the capital.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau borders Dong Nai province in the North and Ho Chi Minh City in the West,
Binh Thuan province in the East and borders East Sea in the South.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau is in the tropical monsoon climate so the weather is divided by two distinct
seasons. The rainy season starts from May to October and the dry season starts from
November to April the following year. The annual average temperature is 27 C and the
average rainfall is 1500 mm.
Although Ba Ria city is the capital, we have Vung Tau city which is a famous tourist
destination in the South. In addition, the city is also the logistics area of the oil and gas
industry in Vietnam. The city is recognized as the first grade the first provincial of the
Southern. Vung Tau area is 141,1 square kilometers and the population in 2014 is 450,000
people. Vung Tau is a seaside city has 42 km of coastline surrounded by 245 meters high Lon
mountain Small Mountain 170 meters high.
Besides Vung Tau city, Ba Ria Vung Tau has another famous island name Con Dao. This islan
is situated about 185 km from Vung Tau city and 230 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City. Its
the group includes 16 mountainous islands and islets. The total land area reaches 76 km2
and the population is 8,360 inhabitants in 2014.
Con Dao is equatorial climate - hot and humid. The climate is divided into two seasons: the
rainy season lasts from May to November and the dry season lasts from December to April
next year. The average annual temperature is 26.9 C and average rainfall for the year was
2,200 mm. Con Dao has a National Park was established in 1993 with an area of 6,000
hectares of land and 14,000 hectares of sea.

6/ Da Lat Lam Dong

Lam Dong is province which is in the Southern Highlands. Lam Dong has tropical monsoon
cliamate with average temperature 18-25 C yearly.
Its located on 800 - 1500m altitude above sea level, it covers an area of 9773.54 square
kilometres. This province has 43 ethnic groups with the population was reached 1.262 million
people in the end of 2014. Then:
- The South and South-East bordering on Binh Thuan province.
- And bordering on Ninh Thuan - Khanh Hoa in East.
- The North bordered by Dak Lak - Dak Nong and Dong Nai - Binh Phuoc for the South-West.
Lam Dong has 02 cities which are Da Lat city and Bao Loc city and other 10 districts.

Da Lat is a city of dream so apart from the original name, its call by various nickname such
as: City of Eternal Spring, City of Flowers, City of Pine, City of Fog and Little Paris.
Da Lat was established by French Colonial in the early 19 th century. Until now, its a wellknown city which belongs to Lam Dong Provice and Da Lat is located on Lam Vien Highland
with 1500 altitude over the sea level.
Mountain temperate climate and balmy weather is a feature of Da Lat. This city covers
393,29 square kilometres with 16 Wards and the population is over 211.000 people in 2011.
Especially, Da Lat has Xuan Huong Lake which is a beautiful lake located in the heart of city.
It was built in 1919 by Cunhac who is a French, its about 5 km in perimeter and wide 25
hectares. The lake is covered by pine forests, flower gardens. This is a favorite tourists spot
of Dalat for taking photos and stroll.

7/ Thang Long Ha Noi


Formerly, Thang Long is a capital of Dai Viet (Viet Nam) during Ly Tran Le Mac Dynasty
from year 1010 to 1788. Thang Long means Soaring Dragon, it is the symbol of prosperity.
From 1831, Thang Long was re-named to Ha Noi under Minh Mang Emperor.
Nowaday, Ha Noi is the capital of Viet Nam and Ha Noi area is 3.328,9 square kilometers with
7.588.150 inhabitants. Ha Noi has 12 urban districts, 17 rural district and 01 town.
Hanoi features a warm humid tropical climate which is the typical climate of northern
Vietnam, with 4 distinct seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.
Ha Noi has a famous lake that is Hoan Kiem Lake, this name means "Lake of the Returned
Sword" or "Lake of the Restored Sword" and it also known as Guom Lake, Luc Thuy Lake.
This lake is linked with the legend, in early 1428, Emperor Le Loi was boating on the lake
when a Golden Turtle God surfaced and asked for his magic sword, Heaven's Will. The Golden
Turtle God had come to reclaim the sword that its master, a local God, the Dragon King had
given Le Loi some time earlier. This sword helped Le Loi to fight against Ming China. Later, Le
Loi gave the sword back to the turtle after he finished fighting off the Chinese. Le Loi
renamed the lake to commemorate this event, from its former name Luc Thuy meaning
"Green Water".

8/ Kien Giang Phu Quoc


Kien Giang is a province located in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. The
provincial capital is Rach Gia, 250 km from the Ho Chi Minh City. Kien Giangs dimension is
about 6.348,5 square kilometres and its population is about 1.738.800 in 2013.
It has 01 city, 01 town and 13 districts. Kien Giang is bordered with An Giang Province, Hau
Giang Province and Can Tho city respectively in the East, Ca Mau and Bac Lieu Province in
the South and bordered with Cambodia with 54 kilometres border in the North, Gulf of
Thailand in the West with 200 kilometres coastline.
Kieng Giang has tropical monsoon climate with hot and humid througout the year and
average temperature from 27 to 27.5 Celsius degree. It has more than 100 big and small

islands but Phu Quoc is the largest island and Kien Giang is divided into 05 archipelagos:
Pirate, Ba Lua, An Thoi, Nam Du and Tho Chu.
Phu Quoc is also known as Pearl Island which is the largest island of Vietnam and its located
in the Gulf of Thailand. Phu Quoc Island belongs to Kien Giang province. The entire island has
a total area of 593.05 square kilometres, approximately the size of Singapore island 1960s.
Phu Quoc has 02 towns and 08 wards and including the Biosphere Reserves was recognized
by UNESCO.
Phu Quoc has a famous seashore was called Bai Dai (Long Beach) has the advantage of
nature and has not been affected by industry. This beach has clear water, fresh air so its a
ideal for diving and fishing.
Bai Dai has ever been recognized by ABC News that this beach is the leader among of 05
most beautiful and cleanest beaches in the world, this is a forgotten paradise with sunshine,
blue water and quiet space.
Wonderful time to enjoy here start from October to March, visitors can understand how this
island is great.

9/ Quang Ninh Ha Long


Quang Ninh is a large province along the North-Eastern coast. Quang Ninh was called like a
little Vietnam due to it has sea and islands, delta, midland, mountain, border. Nearly 90% of
coal output in the country is extracted in this province. Quang Ninh has 4 cities, 2 towns and
8 districts and it covers an area of 6.102,4 square kilometres and as of 2014 it had a
population of 1,185,200 people.

Quang Ninh province area is more than 80% moutainous land an it also has 30 rivers and
streams. It features with the humid tropical climate and the islands have characterized the
climate of the ocean. The average temperature between 21 - 23 C, average annual rainfall
of 1,995 meters and average humidity of 82-85%.

Quang Ninh has Ha Long which is the capital of province. Ha Long means Descending
Dragon which was established from 1993. It is located at about 178 km east of Hanoi. The
population in 2013 was 227.000 and dimension is 271,95 square kilometres.
Ha Long was divided into 20 wards and has characterized with coastal climate with two
distinct seasons: winter and summer.The average temperature was 23.7 Celsius Degre,
average rainfall is 1832 mm and average air humidity is 84% annually.
Ha Long has Ha Long Bay which was recognized as the one of 07 New World Heritages by
UNESCO in 2011 and be recognized 02 times for World Heritage. Ha Long Bay is a wonderful
place and potential for tourism industry. This area is about 1,553 square kilometers including
1,969 large and small islands, Ha Long Bay also has many famous caves and in 2014, Ha

10/ Lao Cai Sapa

Lao Cai is a province of the mountainous Northwest region of Vietnam bordering with China.
The province covers an area of 6.383,9 square kilometres and as of 2013 it had a population
of 656.900 people. Lao Cai has 01 city and 08 rural districts.
The province is mostly mountainous with 25 ethnic minority groups. It experiences a dry cold
climate from October to March, while the tropical monsoon is rainy season which lasts from
April to September. The annual average temperature is 23 Celsius degree.
Sapa is a frontier town and capital of Lao Cai. Its located at altitude 1,600 meters above sea
level. Its situated from Lao Cai 38 kilometres and 376 kilometres from Hanoi.
Sapa has humid subtropical with cool fresh air. In summer, the town has 4 seasons: the
morning is spring, noon like as summer, afternoon has clouds and fog like as fall and cold at
night like winter. The average air temperature in the 15 Celsius Degree. Sapa town is unique
place in Viet Nam which has snow. From 1957 to 2013, theres 21 times Sapa has snow.
Wonderful time for visiting Sapa is September to November or March to May. Because during
this time, Sapa has reasonable weather, sunny at day and cold at night. If visitors are
interested in photogragh, please dont remember to drop by Sapa from April to May or
September to Octorber for shooting, you can capture beautiful scenery such as Terraced
Fields, Flower Fields and Harvasted Season.
Apart from Sapa, tourists are recommended to expore Fansipan. This moutain is highest
moutain in Indochina. Its at 3,143 metres and located from 09 km South-West of Sa Pa Town.
Fansipan has been formed since 250 260 million years and its still higher than previous
year 0,032 millimetre. This place is a famous for Climber who is interested to conquer nature.
The recommendable time for exploring Fansipan from September to March. Besides that, the
most beautiful occasion for sightseeing is late February because flowers will have been
blooming at this time.
