HUSBANDS PARTICIPATION AS THE FAMILY PLANNING ACCEPTORS AT
TUALANG HEALTH CENTER IN 2014

men acceptors as many as 42 people. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation
of knowledge and attitudes onhusbands participation as family planning acceptors in
Tualang health center. The type of this research was analyticquantitative design through cross
sectional study approach. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling. The data was
collected by using questionnaires. The taken sample was 100 pus. The data were analyzed by
using chi-square test.

3. Results of this study indicated that there is a relationship between knowledge of the
husbands participation become acceptors man that P value = 0.034 and the results of the
analysis RP = 0395 and their relation to the participation of the husbands attitude acceptors
man that P value = 0.032 and the vale RRP = 0436.
The results of this study indicated that there were the correlation ofhusbands knowledge and
participation as man acceptors which is P value = 0.034 and the results of the analysis RP =
0395 and the correlation of husbands attitude and participation as man acceptors which is P
value = 0.032 and the results of analysis RP = 0436.

4. The conclusion from this study is that there is a significant knowledge and attitudes
towards participation husband becamse acceptors man with a P value < 0.05. thus it is
necessary to improve counseling and counseling about birth control.
It can be concluded that there was a significant correlation of husbandsknowledge and
attitudes on husbands participation as man acceptors which is P value < 0.05. Thus it is
necessary to improve the counseling about family planning mens.
