Power engineering

CEB
Ceylon Electricity Board is a body corporate established on the 1st November 1969
under the Act of Parliament No. 17 of 1969. It is empowered to generate electrical
energy, transmit the same and distribute it to reach all categories of consumers and
to collect the revenue. It is also empowered to acquire assets, including human
resources following the approved procedures. It is the duty of the CEB to make the
optimal use of the resources through the application of pragmatic and time-tested
managerial methods.
SLT
The Sri Lanka Telecom Group provides an entire gamut of ICT solutions in the areas
of fixed and mobile telephony, broadband, data, IPTV, cloud computing, hosted
services and networking solutions to its valued customers via the latest cutting
edge technologies and also diversified services. SLTs subsidiaries operating under

Com (Private) Limited (IPTV support services), SLT Publications (Private) Limited

Limited (providing workforce solutions), SLT Property Management (Private) Limited
(managing the groups properties for better utilization of resources and stretching
its operations into diversified businesses) and SLT Campus (Private) Limited
(Providing Higher education services of ICT and business management).
LTL
Formally known as Lanka Transformers Group of Companies, LTL Holdings has a very
strong commitment to excellence which is showcased in their superior products.
Catering to over 20 countries globally it is this attention to detail and quality that
has allowed the company to become a major player in the international engineering
arena. Over 50% of our products are exported, after meeting the entire domestic
requirements. They are renowned as Engineering, Procurement and Construction
(EPC) contractors of major power projects. Further they have a well-earned
reputation as the trusted brand for Grid Substations and Power Generating Stations.
Such is the growth of the company that they have also pioneered Independent
Power Production (IPP). They have built, maintain and operate three major thermal
power plants. They have also in the recent past built and operated a number of
emergency power plants to help meet the power shortages in the national system.
