Apple purse

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Vannas choice in white and scarlet and a little
bit of fern green for the leaf.
Size H Crochet Hook
Coats & Clark Red Zipper 10
Large sewing needle or sharp tapestry needle (it will need to be able to poke through
the zipper lining)
Small piece of brown felt for the seeds
Abbreviations:
DC = Double Crochet
Finished pouch measures 8 wide x 4 tall
Apple Pouch Pattern:
starting with white yarn
Magic Ring, ch 2 and make 10 DC in ring, pull tight and join to first DC, ch 2 (10 DC)
Round 2: 2 DC in each stitch around, join, ch 2 (20 DC)
Round 3: 2 DC in each stitch around, join, ch 2 (40 DC)
Round 4: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 3, repeat around, join, ch 2 (50 DC)
Round 5: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 4, repeat around, join, ch 2 (60 DC)
Round 6: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 5, repeat around, join, ch 2 (70 DC)
change to red yarn
Round 7: DC in each stitch around, join, fasten off leaving long tail (70 DC)
