LIVING AND STUDYING IN WARSAW

Warsaw is an exciting and booming European capital with a population of 1.7
million. Currently, there are 300,000 higher education students, out of which
many are international students. The city itself offers a lively arts and cultural
scene, while cultural capitals such as Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Budapest,
Bratislava and Vilnius are within 550 km of Warsaw.
The cost of living is extremely affordable. A student can live on a monthly
budget as low as 500 upto 800, depending on lifestyle.
VISAS AND OTHER FORMALITIES
Health insurance is mandatory for all students for the whole duration of their
stay in Poland. International students are advised to purchase third party

liability insurance and accident insurance in their home countries. EU/EFTA

citizens should get a European Health Insurance Card valid during their stay
in Poland.
B.A. students who are Non-EU/EFTA citizens can sign a health insurance
agreement with the Polish National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz
Zdrowia).
Prior to arriving in Warsaw, international students, depending on their
nationality, are required to obtain a visa. Our administration will guide you
through the process. After arriving in Warsaw, we will then guide you in
finding accomodation and to apply for a temporary residence permit.
