In the future individualism ought to be the efficient utilization of the whole individual for
the absolute benefit of a collectivity - Che Guevara. The movie Antz is a great example of this
because it's about how an individualistic Ant tries to save the colony after the army plans to have
a genocide and kill the ants so they can take over the colony. So in making that statement it is
saying that even though in trials and tribulations it takes someone that has forward themselves
before having to do so for the collective group.
Individualism is important because of how it demonstrates the use of self actualisation
and the forwarding of the self over the collective few. Yes people say collectivism is more
important but facts say otherwise. The proponents of ethical and psychological individualism,
as Hayek contends, and contrary to what its critics say, believe individualism as they conceive it
promotes both self-interest and the interest of the community(Presley). Much of what people
believe individualist are people that only care about themselves but in reality they care about
themselves to care more about collective few. Even though it devoirs much of the ideas in
collectivism is something completely different from individualism.
Individualism is completely different from collectivism because it represents people
going out in the world and taking the initiative of making themselves a better person before
making the collective group better. This is because if a person is going to a meeting they would
have to know what they are talking about but if they go and talk about completely other things

they would be embarrassed and would not help the group any more. Yes there is another example
but it wouldnt be much different to the last example.
Much of the examples of individualism that are depicted in society are not the way that
individualist really are. An example of a bad example of this would be America because we
really rely on other countries for resources even though it could be made in America. So this is
why much of todays people dont believe that individualism is the most important thing out of
Individualism vs. Collectivism.
