FAMILIES

uWhat to expect from a Family Camp?

The Family Camp is a retreat for the family affected by disability with
programs that will refresh and strengthen families. The camp is where you
can have fun together in a safe and accepting environment. You will be
able to enjoy Gods creation and you can meet and have fellowship with
other families who face similar concerns. You will build lasting memories as
a family and well as renewed hope in God. For the youth and kids program.
A caring and trained Short Term Missionary (STM) will serve your family in
the camp. The STM will be a friend to your child.

SHORT TERM MISSIONARY (STM)

uWhat is it like to serve?

You are assigned to a child or adult with

disability for the entire camp. Your job is
to be a friend by spending time and giving
love to the person you are assigned to.
You will be eating meals with your assigned
family and join them in most activities. You
may also be serving in programs areas like
art, recreation etc.
The camp is a place where you will have the
opportunity to build relationship, to share the
gospel and to help others find hope in Jesus.
Dont worry if you dont have any previous
experience. We train you before the family
camp begins!

CHURCH
We encourage the church to join us in the Family Camp
by sending families and also volunteers. This is the
best way to train and engage volunteers to accelerate
disability ministry in your church and for the families to
build relationships with the volunteers and also other
families and for them to know and grow in Christ.
