A pinch of editing
Making shit on Photoshop: a profile pic experience (Use steps as needed)
Step 1: Open Photoshop & make a project. (FILE + NEW)

Im using an 800 by 800 pixel project (with a resolution of 300)

Step 2: IMAGE
If you already know what image youre using GREAT. But I recommend saving the
picture as a png. Ill be using this picture here (BE WARNED OF COPYRIGHT!) Credits to

original artist
Step 3: the beginning
Tools are located on the left column of the screen. Im using a tool called eclipse. It
makes a circular shape. (use mouse to drag and move to change shape and size)

Make a circle on screen. Right click on the

layer and find duplicate layer then use the paint bucket and color it white. Go to the lasso
tool on the left hand side and right click. Choose free transform and drag across the new layer
circle and move untill satisfied.
Step 4: adding the picture of choice
When your image was saved it should be in your file. Open file new and choose the
image. To move the image on/into the circle use the lasso tool and select whats wanted. Use
Ctrl + C to copy image then when on the circle page hold Ctrl + V to paste. Adjust from there.

Step 5: adjustments

You should have a picture

somewhat like this.
Step 6: coloring
Use the paint tool to color in large areas but remember to be on the right layer.
Step 7: personalize
Change what you want the circle direction to be. Ive changed my circle to lie on its side.
Another thing you can do is add your name or gamer tag or whatever. And to do that on left
side is a T thats the TEXT box drag to intended area. Choose text size on top.

Step 8: more personalizing

Personally I like more flair to it. Right click on the text layer to the right. And click
blending options. And choose stroke. (This will outline your text) Click stroke and adjust.
Step 9: just a lot of personalizing.
MORE! Bending the text can add a little pizazz. To do this, Click on your text layer then
to the top next to edit the drop down thing will appear. Choose warp then towards the top itll
say warp: none, click on NONE and select whats wanted
Step 10: lighting
If you have a bright color like mine for a background you may want to darken the edges.
Choose black and your background color. Right click on layer you want to add this effect. Go to
blending options, click on gradient overlay. Then select gradient that you want, change style of
gradient to radial. (may have to check the box for REVERSE) then adjust as needed.

Step 11: STARS

Go to google and find a picture of some stars. Save it then open it in photoshop. Create
a new layer right above the backround and use free transform on the star page over the entire
screen, Use ctrl +C on the stars and then on our main page CTRL + V to paste it. Free transform
it until it covers the entire screen

Step 12: opacity and finish

On the star layer to the right is the opacity gage use this gage to adjust the stars to you
preference. Then save it as either a png or a jpg. Congrats youve done it.
