On occasion of 1000 Thirunakshtram of Shri Ramanuja, Thiruppavai
recital competition will be held in Sri Sundaravaradaraja Temple
(Kaliamman Koil Street, near Market, Virugambakkam) at 9 a.m on Jan.16.
There are three age groups Upto 10 years- Kothai, 10 to15 years Andal, 15 to 20 years
- Natchiar.
Any
children
of
any
school
can
participate
in
this
competition,
forms
are
available
in
the
temple.
Thiruppavai book will be given to all participants.

in Chennai and suburbs with the help of numerous Civic
Exnoras, Resident Welfare associations and general public.
More than 500 students were participated in this
event and took oath to contribute to the Re-Greening activity throughout the year.
