INDUSTRIAL VISIT

1.0 INTRODUCTION
For this semester, Aircraft Aerodynamics is one of the courses for the third
year students from School of Aerospace Engineering are required to take.
This course extends the aerodynamic concept learned in the previous
semester to the aircraft particularly in subsonic region. It aims to provide
fundamental exposure for the student to learn about aerodynamic
characteristics of the aircraft for airfoil, wing and wing-body combination
including the design technology.
2.0 OBJECTIVES
Among the main objectives of the program are as follows:
i.
To provide a platform for the students to relate what have learned in
class with real life application
ii.
To provide a platform to expose to the third year students to the
technologies and innovations in aerospace industry.
iii.
To reignite the interest of the third year students in aerospace
engineering by exposing the technologies and innovations.
