a.)Ishaan -He doesnt know how to read and write but although he
excel in art.
b.)Nand Kishore- a successful businessman in increasingly
frustrated by his sons academic problem and applies pressure to his young
son without seeing improvements.
c.)Yohan -who loves and tries to defend Ishaan ,nevertheless
increase his isolation because he is a high-achieving and diligent student.
d.)Khan- he have beautiful heart ,loving and caring to other people
and in special children .And he help Ishaan to teach him how to read ,write
and realize that everyone born in this world is special
2. Why did the parents of the main characters transfer him to boarding
school?
-When he get into far more trouble than his parents cannot handle, he is
packed off to a boarding school to be discipline .Things are no different at his
new school and Ishaan has to contend with the added trauma of separation
from his family.
3. Describe the teacher of the main characters .Identify the subject taught
and give one trait of each and explain why you answer such?
-Teacher khan have a big beautiful heart to other people. He wants that
everyone is happy. And he wants that every people subsists if there are
series challenges that enter to our life.
4. How did the art teacher changes the life of the boy(main character)?
-art teacher in film spent a lot of time to understand why Ishaan cant learn
well like his friend. He decide to make a trip to go home of the boy and
asked his family to provide some information about the studying of Ishaan.
Actually he was amaze when he saw the picture of Ishaan as well as his
problem.
5. If you the teacher, how would you handle the main characters?
-If I am the teacher I will do everything to teach and change his life to make
the family, friends and other teacher be proud on him. And like the teacher
khan do in the main character.
6. As a students do you have some problems in coping up with the topic
taught to you by your teacher ? Give concrete situation on how you respond
from it?

-Teacher and family should need to know what their children want and wish.
We cant use all the same ways for each child. Each child posses a kind of
intelligence , so parent need to try discover the strength of children instead
of obligating. Lets try to understand their emotion and realized childrens
ability. Education really needs to have enthusiastic teacher and oblige to
change if necessary.

8. Give the general mood of the movie? Explain

-It is really a heart touching movie. It is a lesson for teacher ,students and
parents. They must understand the difficulties of their children and work to
eradicate.
9. Do you like the movie ? Why or why not?
-Yes I like the movie because there are many moral lesson that encourage
everyone. The moral lesson I learned yes human person differs fro m one
another yet all are equally being loved by god. Everyone born in this world
is special no matter where are born and in what way they spend their time.
10. How does the title relevant to the story ?Explain why is it entitled like
star on earth?
-the film explores the life and imagination of the main characters. In the help
of the art teacher he excel in art and academics performance and the family
and teacher proud in him.

First of all I would like to say good morning to the respected teachers, parents and my dear friends. I
would like to speech on the importance of education which is must to know by all of us. Education
plays a great role in the life of everyone all through the life. Getting proper education is very
necessary to get success and happy life just like food is necessary for healthy body. It is very
important to live luxurious and better life. It develops personality of the people, provides physical and
mental standard and transforms peoples living status. It promotes the feeling of physical, mental
and social well being by providing better life. Good education is constructive in nature which
constructs our future forever. It helps a person to improve his/her status of mind, body and spirit. It
provides us lots of confidence by giving us bulk of knowledge in many field. It is a single and vital
way to the success as well as personal growth.
The more knowledge we get, we grow and develop more in the life. Being well educated never only
means to earn certificates and good salary from the recognized and reputed organisation companies
or institutions however it also means to be a good and social person in the life. It helps us to
determine whether something is good or bad for us and other persons related to us. The first
purpose of getting good education is being good citizen and then being successful in personal and
professional life. We are incomplete without a good education because education makes us right

Good morning to the Excellencies, my respected teachers and my dear friends. I would like to
speech over importance of education at this great occasion in front of you. Education is very
important to all of us. Our parents make us learn many things at home and then send us to school
after age of three years. Our home is first education institute where we learn how to behave to
others and other skills however school education is very necessary to be successful in practical life.
Through school education we learn and develop personality, mental skills, moral and physical
powers. Without proper education, one gets lack of all educational benefits in his/her life. Education
is the only key to success in personal and professional life. Education provides us various types of
knowledge and skills. It is a continuous, slow and secure process of learning which helps us in
obtaining knowledge. It is a continuous process which starts when we take birth and ends when our
life ends.
We should make our habits of learning always all through the life from our teachers, parents, family
members, friends and other related people in our life. We learn to become a good person, learn to
live in home, society, community and friend circle. Attending school and receiving education is
extremely vital for every person and necessary for those who want to achieve success. We all take
birth in same manner at the same planet however do not get same opportunity to receive such type
of formal education which may lead everyone of us towards success because of the lack of money
and knowledge of parents. One who gets proper education becomes admired by the members of the
family, community and country. Proper education by all brings equality among human beings and

Ang istorya ay tungkol kay Josie (Vilma Santos), isang ina na nagtatrabaho sa Hong Kong bilang
domestic worker. Ginawa niya ito upang makapagpadala ng pera sa mga anak niya upang
matustusan ang kanilang pangangailangan. Binangggit niya na ginagawa niya ito para mabigyan ng
magandang kinabukasan ang kanyang mga anak. Bagama't siya ay malayo sa kanila, tiniis nya ang
mga pasakit ng kanyang amo at ang kanyang pagnanais na makasama ang kanyang mga anak sa
kanilang paglaki.
Pagkaraan ng ilang taon ay nakauwi na rin siya dahil sa pagpapasyang hindi na pagtatrabaho sa
Hong Kong at siya ay magnenegosyo na lamang. Sa kanyang pagbabalik, hinarap niya ang
matabang na pagsalubong ng mga anak. Si Daday (Sheila Mae Alvero), ang bunso, ay hindi siya
kilala, si Michael (Baron Geisler) ay mahiyain at walang kimi at si Carla (Claudine Barretto), na hindi
man lang siya ginagalang at iniitsa-pwera lamang. Lahat ng hirap ay tiniis niya upang makuha man
lamang ang atensiyon ng mga anak at sa mga araw na lumilipas ay nakikilala niya ang kanyang
mga anak. Nakita niya ang mga bisyo at karanasan ni Carla ang pag-aaral, paninigarilyo, paglalagay
ng tattoo, paghihithit ng rugby, panlalalake at paglalaglag ng bata. At marami pang problema ang
kanyang kinaharap, ang pagkawala ng iskolarship ni Michael na siya pa namang pinakamatalino sa
kanyang mga anak, iniwan siya ng isa sa mga kasosyo niya dahil nagastos nito ang perang
ibabahagi sana niya.
Si Josie ay nagkaroon ng maraming pagkukulang. Isa siyang masamang ehemplo katulad ng anak
niyang si Carla. Ang kanyang paglaki ng walang inang gumagabay sa kanyang tabi ang nagtaboy sa

kaniya para magrebelde, ngunit sa kanilang alitang iyon, naintindihan rin ni Carla ang pagmamahal
ni Josie sa kanila bagama't malayo siya sa kanilang tabi. At mula sa pangyayaring iyon ay nagbalikloob si Carla sa kanyang ina at nagpakatino na siya bilang anak at nakatatandang kapatid na siyang
gagabay sa mga bata niyang kapatid sa muling pag-alis ng ina.
