Here are two riffs to check out your clean sound.
The chords you need are shown below. Only two chords are shown as
the same left hand fingering is used all the way through.

The first one is a clean picked riff. Pick the strings singly and
slide to the next position.

The next riff is a clean strummed riff. Strum the top four strings
together and slide to the next position. Use the same fingering and
amp, pedal, pick-up settings as the clean picked riff.

Note the strumming pattern, down stroke, upstroke etc.

Lead Guitar Riff


Last riff is to test your lead guitar sound. Get the correct
settings and pick-ups to use here:

The left hand technique is important here.


Have your third finger on the fourth fret, slide to the sixth. Use
your second on the fifth fret below and then first finger on the
fourth fret.
