Appearance:
A tall man, at 6 feet tall.
Has a bulky, muscular build.
Wears a sleeveless shihakusho, with a grey belt, and a standard captain's haori.
Has dark blond hair in a slightly messy style that stretches down his neck.
Wears dark blue armbands around both wrists.
Personality:
Raigo is a mostly quiet and calm captain.
In his free time, he writes short stories.
In combat, here prefers to finish opponents quickly. Due to this, he often uses his Shikai more than his
Bankai.
Prior to the war with the Quincies, he was more violent and cruel, preferring his Bankai's slower form
of attack to prolong fights, and often torturing opponents before killing them, and even fighting his own
subordinates without reason.
To repent for his prior ways, he began treating his men with more respect, and often read his stories to
them on days off.
His stories were popular enough that he started a monthly newsletter that grew into the Seireitei
Communication magazine.

Shikai
Name: Raijin
Release Command: Stream
Appearance:
Straight zweihander, with a wide blade containing 5 spherical gems coloured Yellow, Red, Purple,
Blue, and Green from the top.
Blade becomes skinnier one inch from the crossguard.
Crossguard is straight, 1 foot long, and a very pale blue.
Hilt has a black line zig-zagging across the centre. Dividing the hilt into 5 sections of the same colour
as the gems on the blade.
Shikai Ability:
He can plant a copy of the gems in mid air, only once per gem. Planting a gem causes it to lose colour.
The copies of the gems can be moved through, and only change the colour of the air.
Over time during battle, the blade stores up electrical energy that can be released when all gems are
planted.
Releasing the electricity causes it to fire in a straight line from the tip of the blade toward the yellow
gem.
The electricity goes in a straight line toward the next gem, following this order:
Yellow > Red > Purple > Blue > Green
After firing, the gems and electricity disappear, with the gems gaining colour again.
Bankai:
Name: Raijin no Kumo
Appearance:
Shares it's appearance with his Shikai, but with the gems removed.
Bankai Ability:
Upon activation, the 5 orbs from his Shikai float up into the sky and form 5 small storm clouds.

After 30 seconds, the clouds fully form.

He can control the clouds to move wherever he wants, but they move at a slow pace.
The clouds constantly rain down, covering the field and his opponent with water.
Upon slashing his sword down, a ray of lighting falls from one cloud.
The lighting has a lower than standard voltage, which travels through the water on the ground and
electrocutes his opponent, slowly killing them.
Directly striking his opponent with the lightning is more effective.
Weaknesses:
Shikai:
Can only travel in straight lines
Requires all gems to be set before firing
Gems return to the blade after firing
Bankai:
Electricity is uncontrollable, and has a risk of electrocuting himself and allies within range of the
strikes.
Clouds move slowly and are small, so quicker opponents can get out of range easily.
Lightning kills slower in Bankai than Shikai
