Task #1 ~ Important Issues/Topics

The Environment
Reduce contributions to greenhouse effect
More parks and green spaces
Ocean/Lake clean up
Reduce pollution in water
Garbage disposal ( lab work on how to disintegrate and eliminate garbage safely )
Sanitary engineers will be hired for each region to ensure the environment is kept
clean and healthy
Recreational centers will be implemented in local areas to improve the lives of the
citizens and visitors
There will be a municipal fine of $250 for littering, especially near animal habitat
areas, municipal parks, and clean environments
If an oil spill occurs there will be a swift action to help clean up and protect the animals
in that area

Marriage and Divorce

You can marry anyone over the age of 18 without anyones permission.
If under 18 but over the age of 15, parents permission is required from both sides.
Anyone under the age of 15 cannot get married.
Divorce can be acquired if an abusive relationship (proof required) or if the relationship is at
its end point .
If the pair has children, counseling is required to fix the situation/issue.
If divorce is given the child gets to choose who they get to be with if both parents are clean
and willing to take care of the child(ren).
Both parents get to have time with the children under certain conditions.
If it is an abusive relationship the children get to be with the non-abusive parent or
guardian.
If both parents do not want custody of the children, they are sent to be with a relative who is
willing to take them in or is sent to the orphanage temporarily until a new home is found.
Before permanent separation, there are steps taking under the law of 1812 to make sure it is
the right choice.

Health Care
All health care expenses will be covered by the citizen and government taxes
All middle class jobs will obtain insurance covering dental,vision & life
insurance as well as pension
Everyone who pays their taxes is entitled to free health care including their
children
Immunization is permitted in schools from elementary to secondary school
Valid for long term and primary care
Must have your health card to be qualified for free care
Prescription drugs will be under the cover of the national pharmacare plan
which would not interfere with the regular health care insurance plan.
The national pharmacare plan also covers of the cost when having oversea
medical attention

Criminal Law
Decrease the risk of crimes in the city
Make the streets safer for the citizens
Anyone who commits any kind of crime will have to deal with punishments or jail time
Anyone who commits crime has the right to go before a judge and have a lawyer
No use of any drugs without medical consent
No drinking & driving
Must be licensed to carry a weapon (gun, tranquilizer, etc.)
No murder or manslaughter , etc.
No child abuse
No illegal businesses
Prison (Length of stay depends on crime)
Juvie (for citizens under 18 years old) if the crime committed is considered first degree,
the charges could be
Life in prison without parole or the death penalty (lethal injection)

Task #2 ~Political
Spectrum

The Pinkie Party is located in the center of the political spectrum. This is because the Pinkie Party would like
to demonstrate a balance of social equality but be in control to deny any changes that may have a
detrimental outcome, ruining the strong society that has been built. Although we agree with the fact that
social equality is necessary, we do not believe that everything should be allowed, as the left wing does. We
would have a strong government like the right wing but not as aggressive as to threaten the citizens, or to
have such a small government. Therefore, we agree with some of the beliefs with the left and right wings, but
to a limit so that we won't shift completely to either side, leaving us in the center of the Political Spectrum.

Election Day Speech

Good morning to all. My name is Rob Evans and I will be presenting to you the reasons why I will
make an excellent Prime Minister of our beloved nation, Canada. I have had many years of
experience in the political field where I was the mayor of Mississauga, and this gave me a great
experience to show my responsibility to the citizens and city. On top of that, after university I
was fortunate enough to become a champion boxer and model, which means that I really care for
the people and take interest in what they have to say. I assure you that if I become Prime Minister
I will apply these same skills as well as passion towards the citizens of Canada. I intend to do this
by making the country safer for all by implementing a strong police and judiciary force who will
stop at nothing to make sure laws are being kept and obeyed. Once I become Prime Minister, I will
ensure free healthcare for the middle and low classes. For the environment, I will do everything
in my will to make sure that it is kept clean for the citizens and visitors to enjoy. When I become
Prime Minister my goal is to ensure every voice is heard and everyone feels accepted. Thank you
