ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT for the MONTH of NOVEMBER
2016
For this month of November, we conducted our monthly meeting
with the CHT Navigators, BHWs and midwife in our assigned
barangays. I participated in our weekly barangay services in
Mahayahay, Pangi, Salagmanok and Suminalum. In the BHS, routine
activities were done such as consultations, family planning, EPI, and
prenatal care. We assisted in daily routine taking vital signs of
patients, providing family planning services like pills and DMPA to FP
user mothers and we catered pregnant women for their prenatal care.
To reduce maternal mortality in Kumalarang, the RHU
Kumalarang gathered some 150 pregnant women for the Buntis
Congress 2016 held at the Birds of Paradise, Sicade, Kumalarang on
November 29. This event helps promote healthy pregnancy among
gravid mothers. This also encourage pregnant mothers to avail basic
health services like prenatal check-up, laboratory examination and
educate them on the importance of healthy pregnancy and
significance of facility-based delivery. The highlight of this program is
the Search for Kumalarangs Best Buntis Body 2016 where 11
pregnant women from the five main BHSs of Kumalarang vied for the
title. After the pageant, we assisted on distribution of Buntis Kits to all
participating pregnant mothers.
Learning/Insights:
From all the activities done this month, one learning
outstands and it is the importance of cooperation and unity. I learned
that positive results would be achieve when everyone work hand in
hand in reaching the goal.
