Fourth grade students (Audience) will be able to tell their dream job/ favorite jobs (behavior) using at
least 70% English and some Turkish where they struggle (Degree) when they are asked in the lesson or
in daily life (condition).

1) Greeting the students
2) Recalling the last weeks lesson
3) Using an infographic from easel.ly to help the students remember the last weeks class
4) Using chain drills to gain the students attention
5) Watching an inspiring video from animoto showing actual people in their job environment
6) The teacher asks the students if they like the video. He/she goes on to ask what they liked
specifically from that video
7) As a continuation of that discussion, the teacher asks the students about their dream jobs/what they
want to be most in the future. He/she pays attention to creating a comfortable atmosphere for the
students to express themselves freely without being afraid of making mistakes.
8) After the discussion is over, teacher asks if the students have anything else they wish to share with
the classroom before ending the lecture.

Summary
This lessons aim is to reinforce the vocabulary learnt from the previous lesson, introduce the students
to the structure of want, and to make them slowly start thinking about their dream job for the future for
their personal development. After remembering the last week, the students do a chain drill activity so
that they practice using the language and their attention is drawn to the lesson individually. Then, the
teacher shows them a video from animoto which includes authentic pictures of people in their job
environment to give the students a more realistic idea about the jobs. Following that, the teacher asks
the students about their dream jobs and leads a class discussion on this topic. He/she tries to create a
relaxed atmosphere so that every student tries to explain his/herself in English. Teacher helps them if
they struggle.
